Lightweight Love
I can only wonder
How to breathe
How to think

Head pounding
Because of me
No breath

Bleeding arms
Lightweight love....

Lenny
Lenny

Lovely little Lenny,
Laughing loudly, lucious,
Likes licking lollies,
Learning lots lately,
Lightweight lithsome livewire
Love ya!...

Premium Member The Priest Became Thin
The priest had lost weight, becoming so thin
That he could hide behind a lightweight sin
How did you do it, man?
Tell us how WE can ~ "Sure:
Just pack those wafers into a wineskin."...

I am about as together as a goose’s loose feathers.
However, sadly that means I’m so lightweight I can get carried away.
I am as well-assembled as blocks that are oh so easily connected.
However, sadly that means it’s all too easy for me to fall to pieces....

Lightweight
Breed bigger sun's
and intensify an immaculate rising
Plow the ground for sunray seedlings;
pedals of light breaking ground
to get milk from ultraviolet bosoms,
lactating lessons of rising
and the etiquette of a horizon…
looks like the ocean swallows you,
but the moon follows
reflecting off of a garden of stars;
dreams ripened for harvesting...

Premium Member My Thermal Vest
May not be very sexy
Yet I need you to keep me warm

Thin yet lightweight
Hides my hairy chest
Every winter I cuddle up to you
Really snug
Makes me all cosy
Available in many styles and colours
Lovely next to my skin

Vital in this chilly weather
Extra layer of clothing
Silk ones are the ultimate in comfort and warmth
Thermal vest I love you

Premium Member Third Floor and Celery
Third Floor

Reality distraction
staples in the wall of my loneliness
plastered over
to gain permanency
but as a lightweight spackle,
haphazardly poised on the rusty putty knife,
is used to smooth out
the wall
with childlike enjoyment
staples find freedom
flying...

down below someone utters
uninterruptible profanity

Celery

hard times
and they told me those are
the celery sticks cracking
kid...

Premium Member Complications Aside
It started out of curiosity
this friendship became a priority

through months of nurturing
many days of cluttering

complications aside
we are still side by side

making lightweight of every obstacle
in our aim to grow nothing is oracle

no one believed it would work
little did they know that God's hands were at work

plugging and tugging
molding and forming

complications aside
He is still on our side......

Premium Member 'inventory Check'
Maybe this is it
Our time to do an inventory check
Of what is important
Of what messes with our soul
What's irrelevant
We might also neglect things
We thought were important
Cause honesty they never were

So maybe all those lightweight relationships
We thought were integral
Just lost all their shine
Because we had to take stock
Of our happiness in our homes
Without chasing those flighty or fickle ones

This Cool Water Forever
happy am i to scream and shout
my everlasting love for you as i stick my chest out

excitement extends beautification like laughter in the rain
happiness provides hope and dissipates all that causes pain

what is inevitable in life is now a delicate feather so lightweight
how i love the way to bring me to this of so content state

i know i will enjoy this cool water forever with you
for you put on no airs and the nature of your love is so true...

“Much Ado About Nothing”

Romeo’s love doesn’t fall through,
As Tybalt piques his fancy too.
And Juliet,
Not in love yet
Chills out on Tinder and Temu.

William, don’t mind the premise pick,
The rhymes have moved on so to speak;
Short and lightweight -
It’s shooting straight,
Not a sonnet, a limerick.

No tragic twists, no tricksy lies,
No fam’ly feuds to dramatize.
It might be viewed
Vulgar and lewd -
But no one kills and no one dies!

Trending
cut and paste attitudes
collage costume ball
of personality clashes
over glued
to cover tracks

experience of multitude
all pick and choosy
lightweight hyenas
with mismatched spots
pulling dog-eyed at
every string and
tying loose end frayed
knots like collars

strangulated sensibility
when everything’s
in reach, not good enough
or past tense
in fashion sense

got the best of all worldly
minds, but chopped
brains resemble those of
monster frankenstien’s....

The Loss of Nene
the loss of Nene

Forever is an awesome word we use without
realize the implication of the verb.
A friend of mine is dead.
I will not see him again in my lifetime I say this
to avoid saying forever.
Summer and winter will pass
snow-topped mountains will remain, but my friend
will eternally be dead.
Ashes in an urn are lightweight
and has little to do with the man I knew.
He is an abstraction
like the dust in the road,
to say goodbye is useless
he is beyond the known....
