Acceptance Quote
The lesions of my imperfections
have allowed me
to see myself as one
accepting there is more to love
 and heal. And become.

Knowledge Through Silence
Silence brings a
pure power
of listening

Listening brings a
sole power of
thinking

Thinking brings
a pure lesions
of learning

This learning is
Knowledge

Knowledge is power
of self knowing

The Written Assurance of Life
Murmurs of doubt peel off the page
Lost lesions flee from snakeskin
An endless stymied spiral recedes
As coarse winds blow apart overgrown weeds

The scattered feelings of yesterday
Are embalmed from a smooth drifting marvel
Renewed to pursue this grand calling...

Hope Decayed
The way I feel
Is yuck, it’s ick
Words can’t describe
This kind of sick

Piercing lesions
Beneath the flesh
Lack of reasons
It’s so complex

Words, exhausted
Excuses, used
Skin has softened
From blind abuse

It’s decayed hope
From silent vibes
The boat, afloat
Too late to ride...

The Monastery
The Mystery of the Monastery

In the Entity comes Sanctity

Repentance giveth to Admittance

Cleansing of the Sensing

To Homogenize and Energize

Around All Periphery Leads to Epiphany

Giving Truth To the Worldly Toll...

Tripoli
Fray full fantasies fill frightful phrases. Sight of faint light fades thru hills of forgotten shade. Sweat lingers to slidepanfulls of forgotten tide. Only lesions of rain play spiteful thru forbidden haze. So many depend on so many foreseen. There can only be one day of Tripoli.

Lost Embrace
fleeting paths of resistance have stood guard for far too long   be held tonight inside the coffers of my weave   gently peel back the lesions bade down upon my need   enter my lair and entangle in me let loose your ribbons   to the sea     crest each wave with fortitude encased in a lost embrace

Chalk
Chalk
 White powder rock.
Just 45 minutes on the clock.
 Teacher is the tool.
 The chalk is the writer.
 Many lesions, many words.
White dust across the black board.
 Erase to smudge.
 Chalk re-writes discipline.
Learn as much as you can.
 Let poetry begin.
 Refining thoughts.
 Lost time writing in cursive.
 White limestone,
 To a soft smoked poem...

Time
Time could have the answer to all questions
So everytime you fail don't be disheartened
Shy away your fears and cure your lesions
It is time that tells the moment for redemption

Time is a treasure, plentiful but scarce
But many people fail to realize
There is too much time spent for wasting
Yet they treasure every moment when cramming

Premium Member rage
cancer
they said the lesions proved
so I decided to
"rage
against the dying
of the light" *
climb mountains
swim rivers
pedal dirt roads
until...
 ...it went away
or never was...
 ...nevertheless
since then
when I forget
stumble
or fall
or just sense life dimming
I remind myself
to rage

Snow
The time has come to start a season,
To heal a mad-dash Autumn's lesions.

The sun-spent earth resists the flakes
Insistent notes like music makes
The thirsty ground a pillowcase.

Sharp winds elicit needed sighs
As inch by inch the Autumn dies--
Replaced by comfort mountains high.

The sleeping earth will gather strength
As nature waits for Springtime's pranks....

Leprosy
Leprosy

Foolhardy blight that languishes in a musosal drop
Transmitted to the genetically predisposed
That causes dermal cells to mutate
With its tubercle relative to sympathize
Slow surface lesions manifest
And the host begins to realize
Its ancient punishment from the gods
Singled out to be excluded
In colonies for those alike
As microbacterium leprae proceeds to colonize...

If Only For Today
If Only For Today

If you wish to be,
Than go, and be;
Just be not what you were.
Past, is past; and nothing lasts?
There is so much more to learn.
Lesions’ come to everyone,
So take the good, with bad.
Remember when your skies turn grey,
Try not to feel so sad.
Look deep within your heart, my friend;
Listen to what I say,
Move on from pains of yesterday;
If only for today....

A Road Called Miracle
I travel down this difficult road,
Carring this heavy load.

Life's journey I once roamed,
Until I married and made a home,

I travel down this road,
Filled with lesions all over my bones.

Life's taken my body from it's original form,
And now I constantly moan.

I will race down this road,
Until I touch my Lord'said robe.

Life's trials my God has directed,
Now I'm on this road called Miracle.

Premium Member Time Is Everything
Time is Everything Written: by Miracle Man 11/30/2017 Affairs of the heart oft leave spirits broken, But time mends lesions, even those severe. From oral disagreements to words unspoken, It’s seldom as bad as it might first appear. At times our emotions may hang by a thread, But time works its magic as we cling to hope. So rather than face each new day with dread, We grasp tight the knot at the end of our rope.

Survival
I have a disguise
It keeps me safe from lesions
They look at my mask

The mask is gilded
Few will ask what's underneath
They look at my shoes

My shoes they are plain
Noone knows where I have walked
They look at my eyes

My eyes they look back
Opaque, smeared and inconstant
They ask me to speak

I open my mouth
And impart all my wisdom
They nod and depart

I drop my disguise
Sigh and collapse with relief
Tomorrow can wait...

Awake At Night
Eyes wider than
Sequoia trunks growing outside.
Like the tumultuous ocean
I lay.
Restless.
Without hope of the Churner
Ever stopping.

My thoughts are no more
Ordered and calm
Than I.
War torn lesions
In my mind
Where good thoughts
Once stood.

And so battered are my eyes...
So worn the highways
Of my mind.
Like the ruins of Babylon
And the devastations of Gettysburg,
Chaotic silence swept over me.
Then that too -
Ceased to exist....

It Is It Can
It's just a feeling that's always there
I feel shaken up like a soda's fizz
It's something that I always will bear
I know inside what it is

It can take over me
It can take over you
From it you can never be free
I can tell you the name and the name is true

It can rule your life
Though it's not visible like new spring dew
It can cause much strife
You know what it is you feel it too

It can cause pain
But causes no lesions
It leaves no stains
It is confusion...
