Not a Bull In a Bar
Lao-tzu riding
a bull but it
wasn't

bucking around
it actually
looked

like it
might
want

to graze
and so
he says

life is
how
you

ride
it
out...

Premium Member Wisdom Or Opinion
Once Plato and Lao-Tzu had their own blog

Since their philosophies thought mighty strong

Expected people much to read

With wisdom themselves to feed

But readers chose instead opinion's fog!

Premium Member Keep It Simple
Great men and small men,
what does it matter?
We all fry in the very same batter.
Moral ambiguity
is not a hot flame
but if we don't
pay attention
it cooks just the same.
Running a country,
living a life,
Lao Tzu said,
"Keep it simple!",
avoid all strife....

Impromptu
the urge
the want
the need
to purge

the dam
is filling
soon too
full

then what
for to do
simply
nothing

the Talking
Heads once
sang lyrically
of flowing water

Lao Tzu
mentioned
it too that we
should be like

water Toaistically
feeling the free
flow of either going
around or overflowing

the
dam
dammit
dam...

Ode To Lao
Home is where the heart is
Two eyes looking back at me
In your presence and embrace
The safest place I’ve ever been
The place I’d like to stay
Constant laughter
Complete vulnerability of just being, me
I think this is perfectly how it should be
We fit
And I can’t help but feel
Like this is home
And everywhere I’ve never been
You feel like home
The home I’ve built within
The home I’ve placed my love in...

        Jasmine Tea and Poignancy

San Francisco and your soul's appeal.
Sitting in that Japanese Tea Garden.
You, whispering the readings of Lao Tzu.
Surrounded by the afternoon fog embracing
us,so!
Swans swirled, serenely.
Enchanting, endless, eucalyptus leaves,oh!
We drank heavenly,hot jasmine tea.
And quietly wept over the child we lost.
To the prism of eternity.
Fog and tears mixed silently.

Leuk Lao
We meet on the road
But once and I cannot tell you
In the time we have:

   "We are one."

"What's left, what survived, what remains
Of old dreams, old wars, old loves."

We share atomic lives:
Small, brief, unpredictable orbits,
Curious flurries of motion and smiles.

Who you become after I go,
I can only guess

Except by the photos
Of occasional touring strangers

In which I watch you grow,
While you remember an eye,
A camera, a wave goodbye....
