Take away his crown
Take away his jewels
Kill his knights
Burn down his castle but
Without his Queen he is nothing
darkness i once walked
demons of the past followed
now...the path i walk
lights up my way, as i pick
up the jewels 1.2.3
whispering snowflakes
caress the silent night
wonderment at dawn
to see trees crowned in white
jewels of a quiet storm
Metals I adore
Shiniest gemstones galore.
Staring into store
Windows filled with those jewels,
Filled with beautiful colors.
Jewels of the night sky,
Embellishments from afar,
They adorn the sky.

Bite Size Poem no. 38 Poetry Contest
The chest is open
—its treasure exposed
The jewels uncounted
—with riches unknown
(Villanova Pennsylvania: June, 2016)
Wisdom’s crown dim turns out to be without the jewels of virtue and justice!

Stolen jewels from the Louvre
Priceless heist made by ghouls
The criminals bold scaled the wall
They caught two but will they talk
Dreams,
radiant jewels of wishes and hope
Faceted light
—of what tomorrow may bring
(Villanova Pennsylvania: March, 2018)
Snowflakes drifting down
Are like diamonds in the snow
Nature’s Crown Jewels

For Carolyn's Haiku me a nature poem
small stream gurgling low
smooth pebbles look like jewels ~
critters seek refuge

One can be too many,
a hundred not enough
When truth battles fear
—all diamonds in the rough
(Villanova Pennsylvania: August, 2019)
jeopardized jellyfish jangled jagged jewels.
Jingling jolly jovial jim-dandy jellybeans.
Jellyfish jocundity joyously jostling jubilantly.
I have the want but not the means
To cry, and so I let the trees
Well up for me, then shiver down
A thousand jewels for a tear soaked crown.
Textured jewels approaching the horizon
Funneling velvet water
With exhilarating sky
Lush beach fingers the sunset

Form:
Silver and gold
jewels bright and bold
never did move me
To understand why
we live and we die
~ I wish I could see
The thing I dislike about ghouls
Is they act like a bunch of fools!
They don't trick or treat
But head for the meat
Especially family jewels!
at midnight
when the moon
glows bright
she rises
from the depths
bearing
aquamarine
jewels
from the sea

Butterflies landing on the atones
are precious jewels,
landing on plants
are colorful flowers
flying in the space,
they are flowers that fly
A bazillion stars twinkle in the night
sky; pinpoints on black velvet, perfect
jewels created by the universe
for us to gaze upon in wonderment.
A thousand jewels tumble from sunlit Heavens,
betwixt them a Creator's canvassed covenant.
Gentle revelation, another miracle of life - witnessed.
Form:
nature's lace up for the taking
a sunray glorifying leaf, stick, pebble and cloud
in my eye each precious jewels

Clear pristine water
glimmering, shimmering glow
shaded rock jewels , lie,
few walk amongst the cool flow
ripples reflect in moonlight

The Muse in the tower,
whose debt you enthrone
Those jewels that you borrow,
—her crown still on loan
(Villanova Pennsylvania: June, 2017)
Awesome as spring nights,
the pond's silver gleams seemed stars...
I tried to catch them,
thinking they were rare jewels
that the moon gave to lovers.
