Star Gazing

A bazillion stars twinkle in the night
sky; pinpoints on black velvet, perfect
jewels created by the universe
for us to gaze upon in wonderment.

You saw MY number one poem and now I am seeing your BEST of best. Second time but it's still a gem!

Awesome image here, Carol. I made a black velvet gown that had the tiniest sequins on it. I wore it in a play and the director said it looked like stars "twinkling in the night." Beautiful poem for my favorites. Love, Carolyn

How many zeros are there in a "bazillion"? Nice descriptiveness here.
