No Introductions
I tried to introduce myself to Cherry
but then she introduced me to Harry
who give me the stink eye
while signaling me to say goodbye
because they are scheduled to marry....

Introductions
She said she was traditional
She enjoyed traditional things
That some may think that a bore
Then I was kicked on the shin
With a Pikalinos size 10
Apparently, I started to snore...

Jack's Horses Blossom
Jack's Horses Blossom
jack carried his new beau onto the bed
and his horses galloped to break bread
pasture noises a hoarse
rhyming oats on course
all introductions inside, jack rose ahead
connie pachecho

Nick From Italy
He asked for directions
It was a train ride and a walk that mirrored mine
We were apart on the train
My minimal sociability
We met in the roar of passengers
A second offer of navigational help was given
We strolled with small introductions and talked
The ticket office prompted our fission
A Mediterranean farewell...

Desirable Dawn
Desirable dawn
Silhouettes, shapes,
clouds backlit
by a distant sun
rising slowly
in the east
Cantaloupe swatches,
painting introductions
of a desirable dawn
Draping the sky,
illuminating my heart
to a brand new day
with you
Good morning Soupers...

The Orator
I had three poems
- Short ones-
And was told where to stand
To read them
My time was limited
Only time to read the bare words
No time for introductions,
Side stories,
Or explanations
“Just read the poems”
So I did
My elocution was perfect:
Clear, and to the point
I left the stage
To a silent reception
Because no one knows
Who I am...

Made In China
If something’s made in China,
The quality might be
Below what we would once expect,
I think we’d all agree.
What really drives me crazy is
When they include instructions,
The grammar and the spelling sometimes
Need some introductions.
It shouldn’t be that hard to find
Transcribers to dispense
The how-to-guide translations
That, in English, make some sense....

Question
If Jesus is the answer,
What is the question?
Is it, let's say,
Youth disaffection?
Kids need to be taught to say,
"Back off", to drugs and bullies these days,
Jesus as a forever friend,
To wisdom their lives to wend,
How can we reach more of them?
In this modern digital age,
Introductions need to be made,
If an issue is, indeed,
Youth disaffection,
Is Jesus the answer to this question?...

Chronic Hesitation
dayspot caskets introduce the introductions...
....parenthesis with nothing in between them.......
.. patterns and builders in the open fields
destroy what little was left...
... ..... ......
..waiting for the explanation..
the reason for the hesitation....
the papal heart in the wreathed skin
of a divine second guesser.....
skips a beat.. skips a line..
forgets the need to forgive
and hardens to the touch......

Introductions
Let me introduce
David Dennison - wealthy,
dirty-minded man.
Credit card in hand
and his pornographic plans,
for sex on demand.
Little girls attract
him - his daughter's body
teases and distracts him.
Of course Jeff Epstein
knew the way of it - the pay
& get away with it.
David’s lawyers
smoothed the way - and he’s the
President today.
*David Dennison is Donald Trump's alias in non-disclosure agreements with prostitutes*...

Who Am I
The soul needs no formal introductions
The writer writes until the ink get dry
The individualism is completed by beliefs
The character is born by faith
The feelings are made by humanity
The sadness is conquered by strength
The richness is represented by wealth
The resources are acquired by nature
The illusion has come to an end
The explosion of thoughts and stability of growth
The strategy lies within the core
The goals are formulated by dreams...

Making Conversation
I struggle with conversation,
what to say I'm never sure
and after introductions
I can't think of any more!
A comment on the weather,
'it's cold for the time of year'
or 'how's work going at the moment?'
is all I can manage I fear.
I'm not one for idle chatter,
don't seem to have the knack,
to engage in conversation
with small talk I do lack.
The thought of talking scares me
nerves turn my mind to mush!
I obviously need more practice
but it's been easier just to hush!...
