Desirable dawn

Silhouettes, shapes, 
  clouds backlit
   by a distant sun
  rising slowly 
      in the east
   Cantaloupe swatches,
       painting introductions
    of a desirable dawn
  Draping the sky,
    illuminating my heart
       to a brand new day
                with you

I have always enjoyed canteloupe and now I can see it in the morning sunrise. :) This is a lovely way to start the day, even though for me, it is ending.
