beauty's honey sight
inscription carves over heart
ellipsis..........inclines........
Compressed separation, reality unveiled
Suffocated freedom, identity confronted
Coalesced spaces, vision uncharmed
Memory inscription, chapter closed
Closeness obscure

Even at the very end
Mel Blanc was still cracking jokes.
It's hard to weep, reading his
tombstone inscription: That's all folks!
NOTE: Mel Blanc did the voices for all the Looney Tune characters.
knock, rest here with assurance
we are not rich but we have warm hear
we share what we have
your coming is a blessing to us all
he was no hero
a mere farmer from Ahero
who tendered crops of breed inferior
bow to him
he was a man
The temple is named after the Flower Mountain,
Yet no flowers are seen and weeds are overgrown.
Planting and weeding must be on the routine list ,
For fair flowers are brief while weeds grow fast.

After Dark
The moon splays its splendor.
Red roses somber in vase.
Subliminal shadows, peaked and sallow,
flicker like windswept, willow flame.
Inscription, on her headstone, illuminated.

This is the King of the Jews,
The inscription proclaimed to all
Who passed by the cross on Golgotha’s hill.
Pilate could not have known that day
That the words he had inscribed there
Were the TRUTH to mankind revealed.
The Medallion
I have searched the Earth for Mankind's birth
Stumbled across some petrified wood in the southeast
Inside was a medallion carved with strange markings
An inscription that said, we came in peace

contest Rooting for 8 to 5
To those who are weary and burdened
enter
Here you will find rest
Mend your troubles
You will live
There is a thombstone in Ohio, with the inscription:
’’Harold Hart Crane: Lost at sea.“
His words, soaked with tears blossom
Beneath the waves, in lonely, starving hearts
While he sleeps the sleep of the sea
Without his dark passion,
Free at last
Calm at last
Silver string tugs
By the moons inscription
Writing:
“Open to heart’s desire
Left upon the kind
Leaving one to perspire
Towards the unyielding mind”
The moon sends its grace
To the passerby
Filling all with hope
Of a silver thread design

Six enlightened tunes
Eight melodies of virtues
To become acclaimed
In the ten skies of the Church
This is the eternal bell
This poem is about a 1,200 year old Manichaean bell (and its inscription) found in Ordu-Baliq (Capital of the Uyghur Khaganate).

“The strange is the inscription on the wall seen by the gifted. It’s the enigma they run from.”
- Quote by Poet
Losing sight of the light,
Encumbered by the night,
The daylight is not freedom’s way,
There’s a strange for each day.

a scratch
a scar
an inscription
carvings
as memorials
gravestones
and walls
of a cave:
I was here
we were here
we lived
we loved
we died
now,no one
remembers
our sighs
our cries
....... our lives
I trace the harden, scars of bark
Merely, a piece of heart has healed
One by one and letter to letter
With tinges of smile as I feel
The puppy love that fades within inscription
Passions scratched upon a Weeping Willow
So far away are the lives in parallel
All abstractions as... statues in a field
She has a courage like no others,
Having faith is like a blood veins that will not fade,
Inquisitive about everything she sees or learns,
Running here running there trying to find what's the best,
Inscription is a mystery way of how to rhyme,
Never will lose her focus when reaching a goal.
Finally,
what I wished for, came to pass.
After many decades of a turbulent life, I managed to reach
the gates of old age!
Now,
before them I stand,
pondering at the inscription written above the entrance:
"Enter at your own risk!"

RX options..
I was on a medication of deception,
Didn’t stop and make correction,
To the lies that I believed,
You don’t just wake up one morning deceived,
So if the doctor writes that prescription,
Ill let the truth be the inscription,
On the walls in the rooms of my heart,
To view when an erring voice starts.
If one has a trip in his life to take, it must be that of introspection!

* At the entrance of Apollo's temple was written " Know Thyself "
for God wished to inform the mortals that only in that way they may
come to know HIM! (Inscription dated from 6th century BC).
Am bent over making a deep impression.
From the sweetness of my sweet expression.
Am contained over painting in your heart my dear inscription.
I am exhausting my thoughts that you may get a clear description.
In your very eyes i see the source of my inspiration.
I am compelled to confess I LOVE YOU for real beyond imagination.
Mosquito you deserve a stump
Off my hand or I slap your rump

epigram is short, satiric, and witty. It used at times to express social criticism or
political satire, and is often written as a single rhyming couplet.
