my mind is like an onion
after peeling the layers back
you expose the true inner thoughts
of my being
my true intentions of living
and why I am here
there's no use fighting
this feeling
my heart says
"love is no more
between us"

Beneath celestial skies
In wonderment walks I
Through wheels of confusion
Cornered I become
Serrated edge becomes my friend
Inducing my inner thoughts
I know it's the Crimson Flow
That takes I to be naught.

My voice is really unique
you'll know it's me when I speak.
Quite easy to recognize
even when I poetize.
I'll express my inner thoughts
prose or rhyme are my transports.
Therefore my voice shall be heard
loudly through my written word.
Tell me something I don't know
Let all you inner thoughts flow
Out of your heart and into mine
Everything will just be fine
If we give each other a chance
To find a spark of lost romance
And join two broken hearts together

My inner thoughts are usually hidden
Belonging to no one else; they’re mine alone
Few pry, recognizing my need to remain silent
My wisdom is covert; in my mind’s safety deposit box
I do slather my inner thoughts onto a page sometimes
Holding my breath, wondering about other people’s reactions
Beyond the sea I call to thee
Clocked in serendipity-
I know not what you think of me-
Your inner thoughts a mystery-
I love you yet I know not why-
Your absence gives me pause to sigh-
On the moon your face I see-
In the clouds you on a steed-

Natural that I know it's my
Destiny to share my love and life with you.
As I went on my morning walk,
My inner thoughts reached a fork.
A place not new; another view.
A decision was to be made.
To other's opinions, usually swayed.
At that moment, my own thinking clear.
Never before, was I here.
My decision, a clear choice.
My autonomous voice
To follow with pride
My decision to decide.
The written word is a release from hell,
Every day life;
Sometimes one can’t tell,
That one can live mundane and full of strife.
Inner thoughts escape free in form,
The anguish lost in the soul somewhere to the east;
Ideas formed in love and hate from an emotional storm,
The words ebb from the soul to rend the hidden beast.
