I fear people for two main reasons:
the damage they are capable of inflicting,
and the damage they are capable of exposing.
eclipsed by a finger
inflicting nothing of the first
second or third degree
still freedom's flame burns
whether I stand
or take a knee
My magnificent seraph,
Behind a smile she shields her suffering
Self-forgetting, so self inflicting
Woe to the one who delights in decency
Form:
The scars left behind are our pride.
Sometimes we need to be touched by madness.
To weave the words into meaning,
with the blades inflicting the wounds.
Perhaps my love’s lust,
a deep desire to entwine,
inflicting a benign burn.
In the womb of space,
two feathers orbit bliss beats,
mirroring divine intent.
To wish for pain to take away pain is ironic. Rim filled to the brim with self loathing and
unsertity. I wish to speak of my pain instead of inflicting it upon myself. Oh so tempting to
give in.

earth life tests, again and again
teasing, taunting, inflicting pain
cajoling us to stand erect
choosing always the path correct
until our fears, are to rest lain

ABUSE
Aiming anger at another to harm them,
Betraying the trust of another to belittle them.
Use of control in a negative way for personal gain,
Satisfying self by inflicting pain on another.
Erasing your own happiness by robbing one of theirs.

exhilaration, revelry, anguish, misery
radiating, inflicting, experiencing

The most beautiful of roses
Is also that which can hurt
As thorns can cut deeply
Inflicting unwanted results
Look not only at the beauty
But gaze at the fullness,
That which is the entire rose,
In order to accept it for what
It was truly meant to be
The rose
The pace is fast
Everybody is in a puff
Putting harsh words
Exchanging unfriendly swords
Trying to hurt each other
Not realising the victim in part
None other than oneself
The pain is inflicted
Inflicting wounds and new injuries
Endlessly it conjures
A new day begins
New pain regains
lives
shaped by trauma
scars on hearts
and minds
dominate thought and feeling
inflicting anger
that's nourished and cuddled
with justification
self consuming delicious
rage
I didn't mean
to put in you
I let go
way too late
it took therapy
on my knees
praying
you
let go too
Welcome to the freak show of Borderline Personality Disorder
Once, you hear my story
you'll tear your guts out
then have the urge to swallow them
because that's that I do to myself
mentally and feel physically
without even inflicting any wounds upon myself.
I leave my thoughts to do that for me.
Whether whiskey or water
What should it matter
The point is we oughta
be toasting each other
Though the East is a Beast
and the West is unblessed …
May we this year refrain
from inflicting such pain
Turn to gentler pursuits
find for war substitutes
< Once came along an man named John Wayne
Winchester by his side causes more pain
Dusty trails ballroom brawls
Battlefield's muddy crawls
The duke of western inflicting gains
Do you like my suffering?
Do you like my pain?
Do you like to be warm inside,
and watch me sit in the rain?
Have I done you wrong?
Have you no heart?
When I see you enjoy my pain
You are shattering my heart.
I wish you no harm
You, I could never hate
But this agony your inflicting on me
Is soon to be your fate.
Form:
Why are you here
Inflicting pain
Shut up, disappear
Do I entertain
I hate you so
Why do you stalk
I’m no quid pro quo
Do not try to talk
This is my house
Go on just leave
You are not my spouse
With the lies you weave
What have you left
But my burnt heart
You’re in hell for theft
At least hell’s a start
sewn too tight, breakage;
it's all right. lasting faster,
inflicting disaster, salvage that self.
singularity resuscitated,
engulfs, laps up habit.
havoc cavorts amongst the
lords, constricts, maneuvers
through chords, sits betwixt
teeth & tongue. it is such, which,
among pauses in sight, will touch &
drip bits of light over wounds, to
wash away intention.
He was a victim,
As his eyes witnessed a massacre.
He was a firm believer of his own.
Still he was a victim.
I pity him.
He was a motivator
Inspirational poet.
Still his words wounded like bullets
Each word was targeted and inflicting
I pity him.
Nothing is inevitable.
Perception changes.
We do also.
Only the sky shines with twinkling stars.
Same. Same.
Scandalous governments
Inflicting misery,
Genocidal tendencies
Nuclear threat,
Our humanity next
For extinction,
This malicious legion
Harnessing hate and greed,
Extermination of other species,
Trespassers on nature
Insanity is their policy,
Murder and maiming vicariously,
End of days from climate change
Shows the ignorance of humanity.

The sins of religion,
religion of sin
holding God hostage,
a prisoner within
An Almighty weapon,
inflicting great pain
heaven in bondage,
redemption in chains
The politics of religion,
its dogma a curse
with guilt as the wellspring,
all heretics thirst
Angels conscripted
the devil awaits,
for those who would question
—with hell as their fate
(Dreamsleep: April, 2022)
The lightning, it was over bright
Arthritic trees, stripped bare of leaves,
seemed skeletal, inflicting fright
The lightning, it was over bright
as if the devil's acolyte
The world shall beg for mercy, please!
The lightning, it was over bright

Inflicting guilt and worries on children.
Disturbing concepts that help none of them…
Unless you want to keep them paranoid, anxious and in line.
But warning, gurus of guilt and angst,
Teaching them the world is an unsafe place,
And that love is conditional, sometime backfires,
Paralyzing them, keeps your neonates immobile, unhappy, and perpetually sad
But if it meets your needs, who cares, right?
In search of peace
the free hand was inflicting casualities.
The kids were buried like insects in a rubble.
Step by step in speculation
the streets were livid with rustic murals
of splintered blood on walls.
The foxgloves had lobbed rockets
on tall heads. Beleaguered
eyes nailed to fire.
I am watching you my art,
to witness the agony of man.
Burn, burn my cupped hands with snatched words.
