Careful Ling Phong Dam from old Siam
Used the latest latex diaphragm
It was ineffective,
Most likely defective
For the son of Ling Phong Dam, I am.

Things that Do Not Work in a Classroom or an Office
eye roll
ineffective
sarcasm
even less effective
yelling
They do not notice; they hear it at home
shaming
this teacher or manager needs a new career

Wanting blindly, even good
Seldom have few understood
Is ineffective
If one's doing's misdirected
Be the gentle heart well-guided
Not with eyes that are short-sighted
But mindful and wide
Else be intention misapplied

They could see that I was stuck in a garble.
My pupils rolling like marbles.
They could see through my inflection.
They could sense my need for injections.
My thoughts were becoming ineffective.
Changes that are affective.

The diabolical discriminations
life made me witness,
threw me in the depths of being a
disgusted stranger,
all supposed earthly beauties floats by
I could care less,
same goes for the ineffective utterances of
bush, mountain and manger.

Even when Satan starts a picking,
With God I'm sticking.
When Satan starts to be bite,
I'm telling him goodnight.
That battle the Lord will fight,
and to Satan, I say with me all is well,
I have the victory.
Go to hell you ineffective enemy!

Right now you are looking at the sky
Wondering why the stars shine at night
Maybe they hate gloom too;
or maybe they are here to light up your face
Rendering night ineffective;
Night;the time when darkness arrives
to stop lovers from looking into each other's
eyes.

Two viruses are out there now
each can take your breath away
it's what they're born to do..
Two parasites are also out there
they attack the mind
until a lie becomes truth
and a truth becomes a lie.
While love along with a {the placebo}
sit under heavy stone-masks
unrecognizable
ineffective
forgotten.

love if thrown
how stone, can
provoke reactions
unpredictable
and in chain...
if thrown to wild beasts
in the arena will be
clearly
confused
with meat for
consumption...
if given as
please, able to
turn spell...
castrated in
its essence
it will be similar to a
firing device
and it will be
ineffective...

People talking everyday,
But what are they really trying to say?
Words bounce back and forth
Off walls and trees.
Some strike a spark.
Most fall flat.
In the blaze,
Do we actually hear?
With our ears, our hearts?
Words so ineffective.
How to make them know
What the heart understands?
Perseverance and patience.
All will one day be told
And known
In the heart.

The strategies that worked just a week ago.
Now are unhelpful as my fear decides to flow.
And so do my thoughts which are no longer churning out reality.
Just a while back- music would spur normality.
But now the notes haunt me, like laughter that evolves.
From friendly laughter, to crowing crowds that refuse to absolve.
The ways I studied in order to cope.
Are now ineffective as my mind is sloped.

My body was laughing at my mind today
Snicker. Snicker. Snicker. Snicker. Snicker.
I did not think it was nice, so I yelled HEY!
After all I might have an ineffective ticker
I heard the body but I was two seconds quicker.
You are making fun of yourself, right?
This is crazy and truly not bright.
Let’s get real and have a little think.
Let’s be kind to our self with all of our might
So body and mind can both stay in the pink.

The game of baseball can sometimes be rough.
Teams often play competition that can be too tough.
Often, even a grand slam home run is not enough.
Last night, our team managed to tie the game.
However, the other guys scored a run in an extra frame.
We wound up losing the game in the tenth inning; what a shame!
That is what happens with an ineffective bullpen.
The boys will just have to get together tonight and start again.

How do we go through life with degrees?
And always, always blame someone for our needs!
Sad, Ivory Tower midgets are we!
Living in outreageous arrogance, but always blaming thee!
Big heads, but no hearts.
Blame, blame, are our poison darts.
Who, we? We are perfect you see?
Ineffective, irresponsible, intellectuality!
What have you done for the earth?
Besides quipping, off the cuff, ineffective mirth?

Smile, I'll do it with you
Cry, if I can’t do it with you,
I’ll provide the tissues to
Help wipe your tears away...
Laugh at the small joys life provides
Even in their miniscule state
Somewhere out there
Someone appreciates them...
Your effort might look ineffective in your eyes
But look through someone else’s eyes
Recognize the love when they look at you…
Know that you are loved, not always uttered,
but always there, always know
that someone out there loves you…

Just a little word with
So many guises
Incoherent inefficient ineffective reaction
Inconsistent blame
Vengeful malaise
Conscious disregard
Blameless resolve
Sanctimonious irksome indifference
Creative revenge
Wreckage for sport
Intensive bigotry
Hyperbolic generalisation
Disinterestedness
Complacent autocratic dogma
Crass philistine opportunism
Nimble forgetfulness
Vigorous ignorant diatribe
Impotent nostalgia
All in a day’s work for those
Whose envy knows no bound
