Once summer green
then Autumn gold
bedecked this ancient tree-
Today silhouette laid bare
misletoed in winter frieze.
A honeycomb dislodged
By a hurled pebble
One too many angry bees bothered!

Standing alone
in the center
of it all……
muttering
to a passing
breeze
…….“stay”.

Alone at the crossroads again,
a bug trapped in a jar,
I watch by Her window
for a world that refuses to appear.
The mist,
Dances,
like ballerina heels,
It kisses,
The fountains,
And irises,
Bows and sways on

becoming
the thing
she sees
elasticity
she sees
becoming
a hippie and beatniks . is that unproductive imagism for you ?

nuggets of
wisdom
mined
from
the
crucible
of the
misshapen
slumped figure
in
the
disconsolate
wheelchair
Lichens of lion's lore,
incipient and trying to score-
ditch it and die in the core,
stick it right in the horse.
cheap dreams
never face
sleepless nights
endless effort
finds realization
driving the dream

The day yawns
stretches...
like a flower
petals upturned
ghostlike vapors
drift away
Bullfrogs croak
My dog slumbers
Birds in exchange
of words
towards their kins
We hear them as music
no it isn’t,true story is
one of their is sick
re-post inspired by Janis contest
a single owl screech
breaks the silent
November night-
the Hunters moon
waxes blue
I,
Running
From here to there
But getting nowhere.

D H Lawrenc Pine Tree -Georgia O'Keeffe
Hollow eyes
Sagging skin
Wounds undressed
Ashes strewn about
his feet
A tremor
sunders his lips
Aimless
Pointless
Road to nowhere
We go
Lower
Every single day
Every step we make
No end
Empty space
Bottomless pit
Strings severed
No more dancing
Can't dance
Useless
Lifeless
With two left feet

Marionettes are manipulated by strings
the red curtain falls down, children laugh

Beautiful woman
Posing
Can't do her justice
Just want her gesture
Her grace
In a line
In a colour
Her essence
Elusive
Ebony tent covers traffic
Glory of God
Calls forth a gasp
Angel Sun
Peeks over horizon
Announces beauty
White pinkness
night snow
moccasin silent
drifts downward
landing without feet...
smiles in the sunlight
~ morning curtains peek
northern lights round the whole earth
would mean earth scaled down to a
tiny black hole 'lost' in space
stans sand
sin breaks like charcoal
under the weight of mercy
my hands rise clean,
still smelling faintly of smoke
a small locket
glows in the dust~
faint pulse
under its clasp,
the memory inside
trying to breathe again
