With fronds as pretty as can be

Gold-Ian Munywe

GOLD
Take that gold,
and hand me stacks of pens and papers.
From there I will discover,
my own mine, mine.

Muscles In Brussels

Today
In Brussels
They took the flag away
Today
"The People" had their say
As the UK flexed its muscles
Today
In Brussels

Brit's spy guy from Ian Fleming
Is Bond who goes chaos stemming!
When the web of life slumps
See how quickly he jumps
Sadly to die like a lemming

Sir Ian McKellen's a blast.
He once graced a day of my past:
warm crumpets in bed,
my cheeks turning red,
til Patrick appeared with a gasp!

My baby has the worst farts(translation)

My man's ian beale blotto, so 'es intercity is spent...

translation: My man's real drunk, so he's spent his money.

Premium Member Magic

My little dice
So small and ornate
They clank against
A dinner plate
As I sit in the kitchen
With Mathew and Ian
Playing magic
A slice of pizza to my side
Those were the days
Before
I can’t go back
But can I revisit them anew?

Waiting For Go

Waiting at the start line
For the race to begin
No-one is here
The wind is cold and thin
I realise I've got the wrong date
And now its starting to snow
Waiting for a non existent race
waiting for GO - DOH!

Craft Girl

My old girl
   was good at crafts
Even mad a poster with me on it
Now it is over
Guess
I
am
just society's child
   like Janis Ian sang about
Well, I guess I will "keep on trucking"
What other choice do we have, fellow poets?

My Name Is Bond

‘My name is Bond…
James Bond,’ I say.
The ladies swoon:
I have a way.

I kill the ‘bads’
And save the day.
My life is cool,
At work and play.

Oh Little Jab For Covid-19

Oh little jab for covid-19
How well you will make us feel
Free from the illness that threatens us all,
And brings the disease to heel.
But now that Bill Gates can track our every move
And control our very lives
Before we know it he'll empty our accounts
And run off with our wives.

Needs and Seeds

1.
I need courage
To live CHRIST-ian
I tasted intimacy
In Triune Communion

2.
At my age
With second family
I cannot complain
Except for spirituality
I wanted visions
Of Jesus, Trinity

3.
Can't see Face
God's. And live?
I settled then
For African evangelism
Still want intimacy
Tasted back then
