To be cowardly
While others live like warriors
Despite life’s hurdles
Is to die a thousand deaths!
But the brave die only once.

Courage

Worthy courage as we triumph o'er our greatest fears
Undaunted by the storm of thorny hurdles,
Floating above pain, sinking steadily in objective...

Life Is Lake

Life moves on,
Like a lake;
Always flows,
No obstruction can halt;
Sustains all hurdles,
Endures pain and sad;
Yet finds way to move,
Non can stop;

Hold fast to your dreams my loving son and look up to the sky

Is the only way through life to pass and over its hurdles to fly!

Premium Member Four Pet Turtles

I once had four cute shiny pet turtles
Taught them all to jump rope hoops and hurdles
For a grand finale
'Twas always quite funny
They would turn multiple shades of purples

Let Zeroes Mount

let zeroes mount
hurdles daunt you
surmount you must

mammon is God
life's well trod path
says fraud is light

I disagree
life for me is
a sea of love

of contentment
money's meant, see,
for rent and needs

Learning Hurdles In Life

Every hardship
Gives us good chance
To grow as well.

Each has one life
You live it right
Once is enough.

It takes warm word
To make people
Feeling secured.

All your effort
No time at all
Will bear result.

Price of Success

Sometimes we strive
For success hoped on
Inside burns a drive
We tend to go on
Seaching for the unseen
Amidst hurdles and impediments
Costly prices we pay
Draining our pockets clean

Premium Member Wishing To Ride

The train hurdles into the black
Bound for who knows where and back
White billowing from its smoke stack
Mesmerized by it repetitive clickity clack
Wondering, and wishfully looking down the track...

Hope

The lake flows, ups and down,
Enduring hurdles, pain and strife;
Failure, success all come in path,
Yet survives and moves ahead;
'Hope' the magic word,
Spurs vigour to move in storm,
To meet the goal;

Believe In Yourself

Be the biggest fan
Of yourself
Before others
For when the waves
Are against you
You can still rely
An iota to pull
Yourself up
Because you believe
That you yourself alone
Can help you
Stand and survive
The hurdles of life.

There are:

No unconquerable fears

No insurmountable hurdles

No undesirable challenges

No unessential efforts, and

No unwelcomed risks

Fulfill Your Purpose

Fulfill your purpose
Do not run around in circles
You may have to face a hazard
You may also have to jump through hurdles
Stay on course
And rise to the occasion
Set your mark
Show your gratitude for the positive situation

Life Is Like

Life is like a running track...
Hurdles- they are challenges,
We must leap high to pass by
harmful hurtful damages.
Though if we fall we must stand tall
to power on and strive,
Round every bend ’til the end
we run to stay alive.

Love For Sale

In the slight of hand at the dead of night will stand
Hoping someday soon all will live to understand
The heart that will beat the tone of the feet
Love for sale

We ask for more yet for what?

In the passage of time their lies hurdles

Premium Member A Merry Chase

Spring starts sets the pace
Summer flies then falls behind
Autumn takes the wand

Primed to win the race
Clears three hurdles just to find
Winter's grasping hand

Cold with no remorse
Obstacles o'ercome and then
Spring joins in again

The Times Sept23/9

The Times

The hurdles were so high
I climed over them the best that I could
but they always seemed to get higher and higher
so high in fact
that none could jump them in the end
except for those who sailed right by
on the broken backs of the humbled

If one wishes in his life great deeds to perform

Should not pray obstacles on his way not to find

But ought to ask fate hurdles on his path to put

Thus he strong to be and respected by mankind!

Never Say That It Is Impossible

Never say that it is impossible
Believe that it can be done
Continue to fight through those hurdles
Until the battle is won
Opportunity has presented itself
Here is your chance to make history
You must possess a strong will
And lift yourself into victory

Hurdles

One hurdle
Then another
But we have each other
so we remain together
our bond grows
Stronger
With every hurdle
Place upon us
They come and go
Some are hard
Some are not
But either way
We pass them by
Wondering
What would have happened
If we let our love die

New Timeline

Fresh starters for the new year,
A new goal for a new month,
Markers for a day.

The poet's calendar,
A door to a new timeline,
Planning versus life's hurdles.

Vicissitudes and mysteries,
Tomorrow's questions,
Dawn harbingers what we see.
