Premium Member The Highest Bowling Game Ever 301
I once bowled a three hundred and one
Someone told me that couldn't be done
I said, "I've done it before...
When I had bowled my high score...
I had bowled a three hundred...and WON"...

Write the poem you have always wanted to write.
If I had a dollar for every one of those I have written
I would have seventeen thousand and six hundred and one dollars
I say to my sixty grade students.
My students stare at me, not understanding at all....

Some Fun

Teddy bear, Teddy bear, I have found you,
Hiding behind a tree,
Teddy bear, together, let's reach the blue,
Come, come and play with me,

Teddy bear, Teddy bear, you hide, I'll seek,
Count to hundred and one,
Teddy bear, together, let's touch the peak,
Come, come, let's have some fun.

Love's Casino
I hear love's building a casino
Taking bets on itself
A few chips laid on red, the others on black
Love is set to take the house

With a quick turn of the cards
And a swift toss of the dice
Open 24/7 with inside betting
There's nothing about love that you won't like

Love will soon be making millions
Turning hands over fists
Second to none a hundred to one
It's time we all placed our bets...

Premium Member Poem Titl-Eates
the stranger
-was
the heart of winter
-a
page from my past
-wherein
spoken letters make words
-of
a hundred and one lips

-an
unbound presence
-labelled
misfit zone
-with
beer beer beer
-and
flexible souls
-meant
encounter without imagination

-while
just wondering
-why
then i saw the light
-as
patience ages
-that
old man winter
-was
space warped
-meaning
case closed

you walked into my world
wearing a cast
warm witty greeting
my third grade class
joseph medill school
nineteen hundred seventy one
the movie sounder debut
down town chicago
sensitive timid and shy was i
you were a rainbow
quite noble to my eye
a spoken chalice my heart ran
my soul escaped it seems
landing right into
my future hopes
my future dreams
ah as i awakened
wise and free
you were within
the wonder of me...

Premium Member Cruella de Ville Number
My lastest poem has one hundred and one words
Dalmations is where my mind naturally goes
But add ten to that, and I have 111, the angel number
The number that assures me that angels are here.

take away ten, and I am back at 101,
the famous spotted dog number
I used to love singing the Cruella de Ville song
I can still sing most of it

Weird that she and the angel number appear together
Cancelling each other out...

Premium Member A Ledger
I look upon my life as a ledger
Where recorded is all that I've done.
My blessings outweigh my trials
By at least one hundred to one.

On one side the sheet is what I've done
The other, what God's done for me.
I know that they never will balance
For I always fall short you see.

There's no way that I can outdo Him
No matter how hard I may try
For each time that I make an entry
I find God's made many from on high....
