You can reject human nature,
spend your whole life being mad,
or you can just accept it,
do the best with what you have.
craving afterlife
aspiring for the heaven…

~haiku "Human Nature" contest
by Mick Talbot
Pandemic warring,
Human nature’s volcanic
Lava flow of hate;
Scorching love with agony:
Her world’s peace flowing away:-
Beautiful flowers
in a vase, reflecting love,
light up life with joy:-
Nature, giving life to life,
messaging human nature:-
Yet his people had failed him,
Yet choices he had none.
Through the blood,
Through the odds,
The angel’s redemption had begun.

Don't be a football,
Thrown and kicked down the field
Like rocks of nature;
Rather, be a bouncing ball
Sowing and reaping life's goals
Golden skyline burns,
ambition dressed as virtue —
dead smiles sharpened thin.
Compassion becomes rumor;
even kindness costs too much.
One dreams of running so fast
Their hair flies in the wind as they cross the finish line
But wake up to realize they’re still at the start
Why must we fight
‘Human nature’ has no such right
It’s our ‘nature’ we must overthrow
For peace on earth to grow
lad
the world is all good
except
for the bad
just a fad
for the past
ten thousand years
and a tad
how sad
how bad
human nature
not a fad?
There is no such thing as human nature.
There is only human behavior,
and human behavior is in constant flux,
depending upon the environment exposed to us.
bask in the moisture
star illuminated sky
two mold into one
splendid reverberation
nature combined with our love

he cannot fool me

Once tasted…never quenched
Thirst, hunger, curiosity and scent
Some born of need
Some born of greed
But all once savored
…are never quenched…
Form:
GETTING READY IN NATURE
Lions shaking all off…
Elephants self showering…
Snakes changing their skins…
Human nature needs cleaning…
Time to wipe out injustice…
we rejoice at
His return,
but then it happens
again-and-again

Virtue
Angelic compassion
Self-controlled, caring, understanding.
Integrity, ethicality; corruption, immorality
Undisciplined, neglecting, judging.
Demonic cruelty
Depravity
Three words of poem that came to mind.
I display it in 3 as I will rhyme.
Good
Old
Days.
Is what's on my mind. For the right now human nature are not on my mind.
To get out of bed,
On the same side you got in,
Keeps bad luck at bay!
