Well, i see that you nailed it by the comments below dear poet ! Congratulations Andrea...Awesome write Andrea ! You have written the Haiku as it was reintroduced by Matsuo Basho in the 17th century, likewise highly accepted by the poesy lovers of Japan, too, the poetic literary scholars of that era until this day. I really like this haiku Andrea, have a great night, much love, james

P.S....the haiku (hokku) was the first two stanzas of a poetic write called a renga, introduced in the 13th century, a collaborative poetic muse written by two poets...the first stanza three lines consisting of seventeen syllables by one poet and the second stanza by a second poet was a couplet three lines consisting of seven syllables in each line...these writes were easily 100 stanzas long You have made my Friday morning totally enjoyable Andrea with this haiku of yours, I definitely have been inspired to write whatever is causing the frying within mine cerebrum... *Smiles...again, thank you much dear poet...much love, james

A very significant poem that I can relate with, Andrea. Unfortunately some roots can be uprooted even after 35 years. My compliments!
