What ought to have lapsed
A decade ago sluggishly pops;
Antagonist’s claws now thaw
And give way to buoyant hopes.
Only thing worse than
Hanging by thread, is waiting
To live my own life.
I now know I much rather
Hang onto the words she said.

Hopes and dreams
An amalgam of fantasy and perceived reality
Too bad it’s all a lie
Fairytales do not come true
Hopes fade
Dreams die
attaching my hopes and dreams
to the bees and butterflies in the garden
I watched them disappear into the ether
hoping they will uplift others
Unmet resolutions spring up again, hoping to bear fruit this time.

over my burdens and pains

sprinkled hopes came with the rain

Strong heart grains as gild
shone hope on her dream draped palace.
In time cracks reshaped grains
into hapless dream gratis gravestones.
A beautiful girl from Killarney
Drove all her suitors barmy
She was having such fun
Didn't want to marry anyone
She just gave them all heaps of blarney
Finding peace
Giving thanks
Hoping for a healing from the
scars of the last dreadful year

Beneath tin roofs and between rusted walls,
their dreams hang like torn cloth
patched, and faded , in the wind.
A cracked bowl, a child’s laugh
hope drawn in a poster on broken walls.

ripening cherries
hanging on trees in daylight~
bats feasting at night;
at morning sunshine
wastage and garbage on ground~
harvest hopes shattered.
Hang hopes on the moon
Swing high with earthly pleasure
Raven waits for me.
