my dreams
tethered
on a string
of thoughts

hope flickers
beneath 
clouded mind

wishes adrift
falling fast
on trails
of stars

then fading
within night

Thankfully the sunrise is bringing a new day where those hopes and dreams can be revived and this could be the day they come true. Loved this my friend, kind of somber but still filled with hopes and dreams.
