take in the sights
see the city light
its not wrong
for you too
HOP ON

Aura

hop on the back
of the Cheshire cat,
made of devil’s food cake
faint into the void,
ladling out clusters of
pinkish-blue whipped dreams

Truck Stop

there gold
to drop off a load
they go city and town
no one around
need to eat and sleep
so they hop on a cot
at nearest

The Caboose

A man tried to hop on the caboose
But his pants came a loose
He felt to the ground
Made a very loud sound
He looked like a sick mother goose

Alone

I don't mind being alone
As long as I have a life of my own
As long as I don't hop on other's rack
As long as I'm minding my own track

Golly, what a Pickle you’re In -- Bub,
How is it That you’re stuck in a Pub?
Gullible -- You look, Pimp
for why not hop, on Blimps?

Trump a Laughing Matter

Trump Looks Like Laughing Matter

Trump does look like a laughing matter,
And he appeared to be a mad hatter;
Lead that commands,
With small hands;
On his train to destruction will hop on.

Life

Life is short
Who hasn’t said that before
Each decade gets smaller
Time runs away
When we don’t grab it
And hop on
And mold it
Into images from thoughts
a fun-filled passionate life
To live and to die for

Premium Member Eternal Conditional Love

When the sun sets in the morning
and rises late at night,
and dogs hop on lily pads,
and frogs viciously bite,
that's when I'll stop loving you,
and not one day before,
unless, I find, regrettably,
that you loudly snore.

Trials of the Heart

stand,
stand I say!,
lean not against a pillar or a wall,
hop on one foot like a pirate on a wooden peg,
step on burning coal,
step I say!
Let tears not fall,
neither ask for help nor beg.
prove your love
prove it I say.

Unraveling Faith

I
Tangles
Life in bang - les and jangles
One angle
Unravels the tangles
One bang - le at a time

II
My only angle
Of untying any tangle
Is to hop on Faith - plane
Even if time made it a debris jungle
Faith rescues me every time

Premium Member Watching the Trains

Watching the trains pass
wanting to hop on
and find my way home;
From this train station
no destination;

I run restless
jump and wander
wishing on wind;

A starving
vagabond
just searching

hoping
to feel
loved.

Premium Member Dance the Milky Way

Fly me to the Moon
      I'm nearly weightless

Let me sing unto the stars
      Soon I'll not be mate-less

Watch me dance the Milky Way
as I relearn how to play

Hop on an interstellar flight ~
Marvel at the beams of light

BOLTON - 2

Big yellow bus, I know you wont be long
Over nine metres, unless I am wrong
Left hand stretched out, it feels grand to hop on
Twists and then turns, towards my home beyond
Old places, old faces, tea nice and strong
Now this is my stop, it's where I belong

Visualize Mexico’s Baja Peninsula
Let’s take a camel safari in Cabo San Lucas
We will hop on a hump
Might see pods of dolphins and whales
While we are on our leisurely stroll
for camels do not run, they walk.
Giving us more time to enjoy the beautiful Pacific Ocean

Strange Young Man

strange young man
laughing
smiling
but never telling a joke
twinkling eyes
sparkling eyes
filled with joyous hope
I like it when you dance
when you hop on one foot
when you cock your head to listen to my pleads
strange young man
i don't even know you
but your smile has bought my vote

Premium Member Four Score Leap Year

Listen to poem:
It is like that of a leaping rabbit who hop on all four,
Twenty-twenty, would then leap an added four more,
Leap at each fourth year, a day February would score,
As for a century leaps at every four hundred years.

Going to catch us both a rainbow.
Hop on for a ride.
Help me choose a colour
and lay down by my side.

Romancing on a rainbow.
Is little understood.
Eventually I'll catch one
and then I think we should.

So next time when it's raining
You know right where I'll be.
Out there chasing rainbows
just for you and me.
