Leave Me Alone

Leave me alone
Take your heart of stone
And go
You broke me
All I had to give
Wasn't enough
Just go
Leave me alone

My Part

If I am a part,
my part is small.
If I am a piece,
my piece is broken.
If I am a place,
my place is lost.

Small, broke, lost,
but in the mix
It's only me.
My heart of stone doesn't bleed.

Faded Dream

Sunlight filters through you
soul of glass
Heart of stone
Unchanging
Nothing more
Then a faded dream
Of memories once good
Turned into dust and ashes
never growing old
young and cold
forever

I've lemony kiss, a sour clone
circus clown, edges down -- lips stuck
heart of stone, maroon, and alone,
mouth from cave's depths, bar muddy muck,
hands, feet, arms, legs ... their mind's are their own.

Gate Keeper of the Heart

dark cries,
web of lies,
blackened heart of soul,
chilling stare,
heart of stone,
love that cannot grow,
push me down,
shut me out,
whispers in the dark,
sit me up,
pull me up,
gate keeper of the heart.

Premium Member Dark Side of the Moon

Black as pitch
Cold as ice
Dry as sand
Half as nice

Never seen
All alone
Hidden face
Heart of stone

Dead by day
Dead by night
Always dark
Never bright

Hit by stars
Solar wind
Lonely rock
Till the end

Premium Member I and I Alone

I and I alone
Know the pain of loss
Scorned by heart of stone
My love she did toss
Now I bear that cross

Foolish, selfish, boy
With egoistic tone
Narcissistic ploy
Ludicrous your tome
I and I alone

The Demon Inside

Why do you fuel the fires of my troubled mind?
Why do you taunt those I love with vile words?
Is there no compassion behind your mask of hate?
Is there no warmth inside your heart of stone?
Leave me!
I know not what I’ve become.

Miles

It doesn't hurt
To walk alone
But sharing your steps
Leads to
A heart of stone
With every mile
Comes a growing smile
But when the journey ends
The heart
may never mend
So be cautious who you choose
In the end you might just lose.

Love Is Not Merchant

Love is not a merchant
it doesn't keep count
it's not how much or what
but why and how it counts

Better dandelions
from heart of love
than diamonds
from heart of stone

Premium Member Love's Lonely Song

The surf pounds against cliff.
I beat my pillow moaning.
You are gone, your heart of stone
not swayed by my tears.

Onoko*-san, the bringer
who has seeded my garden,
return like the sea otter
through the waves to me.

*onoko is the Ainu word for man

Heart of Stone

Its round with a curve and just a nerve
so hard to penetrate and conquer
You will always hit and run
But if you are caught and woven there
You will know that
Doors hard to break into
Are also hard to break through
Just like
This heart that loves you tight

Premium Member Called

You
called my
name, You touched
my heart. You cleansed
my soul and made me
whole. Darkness was replaced
by light. No more would I walk
in the night. My blindness You turned
into sight. My heart of stone you turned
to flesh. Hallelujah, what a Savior!

Premium Member I me myself

I, me, myself and I alone,
were the only lyrics he knew,
cold, calculating, heart of stone,
no wonder our friendship fell through.

Why on earth would we trauma bond,
with he whose foot is on the brake?
Of such persons we are not fond,
since our happiness is at stake.

Dream

This heart of stone hides
a dream of a god whose voice
once was lost against

the terrific wind.
It became mutilated
then swallowed by the

cacophony of
silence. So, answerless he
slumbers now, yet still

ajar for long to
speak with a mortal one who
would dare to call thy true name.

Premium Member I Am Blue

When you have stared too long
at that lifeless screen,
take a hint from the bird song -
abandon the machine.
See me through your window, so serene.

And if you feel alone
gazing at the skies,
soften up your hard heart of stone -
her soul's window might surprise
when you see me in her loving eyes.

Premium Member Cracked

My aims, this way achieved, I must atone.
A man, so old, my affections were sold,
and today, I find I am so alone,
inside resides a wilderness of cold,
at my interior, a heart of stone.
I'd like to think that it was made of gold,
with structural integrity, intact,
but can it ever be, now it has cracked?

Turning Point -Bc Ir

If heart you chase is heart of stone
Better for you to be alone
Don't play a game that you can't win
Think twice before you make your spin

Refrain from chasing a shadow
Turn back from hearts as cold as now
For, your not born to be martyr
You're not meant to catch someone's spear
