Street Girl

Struggle day and night
to survive on the street lane
hawking and stealing
stand firm,sex selling at night
added;for she has no one.
Form: Tanka

Gravitational Waves 2

Gravitational Waves
occurred every time Einstein misbehaves
but with Stephen Hawking
they also felt there was simply too much talking.

Birthing an ending

If gently bidding S.H. adieu
  Makes Gal Gadot an ableist,
Then her hypersensitive critics
  Are nothing if not labelists.

Note: S.H. stands for the late, great physicist, Dr. Stephen Hawking.

Stephen Hawking says we must colonize another planet Or face extinction, sure hope we can manage it That's quite a goal For us human souls The movers will make a large fortune, I submit
Form: Limerick

Stephen Hawking

Stephen Hawking was bogged down in space. Just one eye moved around in his face. But in spacetime he leapt like a quantum and kept all of us far behind his great pace.

Show us!
Tell us,
Ephemeral
Professor,
How
Eternity
Never
Was.
How
Arrogant!
Why'd
Kepler
Insist, and
Newton, too, on
God?

(Goes to show, that even Hawking's great mind made mistakes!)

A Realm Bête Noire

Rapturous youth and tranquil prime,
Withered with a weird dream.
I was compelled to enter a realm bete-noire,
That of Stephen Hawking, O dear!
Despite the 'black hole' studs,
Our realm 'emits' a glorious radiance.

      Hawking pillows and pea-shooters
a pied-piper his path to fame plied

Picking up a penny here, dropping a penny there

Pent Sills

These graphite singularities
contain universes
unconceived,
awaiting
the Big Bang
of inspiration, but
narrative particles
escape like
Hawking radiation --
gravity’s diminution
evaporatively slow,
nearly virtual,
and random.

Einstein, Gravity, God

I
Cosmos has some constant and Einstein got closest in a century
 - pure gravity
II
Hawking stated loudly, If there's gravity, the cosmos will create itself

III
Gravity, in black Holes too, is Love of God: it cancels all laws by Grace-Gravity

The Cost

The more we are given
the more that gets taken away

As Stephen Hawking looks out
  from his empowering inferno

His vision to create and inspire
  anew…

Exhausts the very flame
   —he lives to ignite

Carried by the sights and smells, he waxed quixotic,
with sounds of vendors hawking wares, quite hypnotic,
a smorgasbord from mundane to the exotic,
yet all the while, undertones verged on chaotic.

The Hawk

Hawk Hawk
Loud you squawk
Squawking squawking
While you’re hawking
Circling, circling
Large wingspan
Hawking squawking
With a plan

Hawk Hawk
Loud you squawk
Squawking squawking
While your hawking
Circling circling
I have a hunch
You are hawking
For your lunch

Dichotomy

Physics and Philosophy come together
  in what they are not

Cause and causation are different
  in the absolute thought

The blocks can be built and ordered
  over and over again

But what gives each block tenure and presence
 —science only rescinds

How We Feed the Vulgar Mouth of Capitalism

And here we are, on this field
Full of wealth and want...

Hawking love and loans like lollies,
Goodies of globalization entice the gullible ones,

Profits blossom [only] in well-made markets,
Global indoctrination indiscriminate and insurmountable,

Only the fit survive this global rat race
When we feed the vulgar mouth of capitalism

Premium Member Santa Goes Commercial

Santa was a fat cat
Who gave all his wealth away,
Taking toys to boys and girls
With his reindeer and red sleigh.
The pricey gifts for which kids asked
Put Santa in the hole.
He had to get himself a job
To stay off of the dole.
So now you find him hawking wares
Before Thanksgiving Day,
He knows he has to hustle
If he hopes to fill that sleigh.

Won 3rd place multiple tie .

Stephen Hawking

His legacy is large
as he leaves his
life-sustaining technology
behind..
He leaves behind also
this quote:
"The greatest enemy of
knowledge is not ignorance,
it is the illusion of knowledge."

Knowledge
often masquerades
as wholeness
claiming more than
its limited span..
Knowledge as thought
appears in our Self
is made of Self
but cannot know
the infinite Self...

Our Thanks, Stephen Hawking...

Stephen Hawking Died Today

Stephen Hawking died today
The greatest mind of our time
Physically restrained by his disability
His mind explored the universe
He wanted to know
How we came to be

He explored the universe
I hope now he will find
The answers he wanted
So walk or run
Do those things you want
Finally - there are no earthly bonds

It goes to show
A life well led
Means there are no constraints
Even when the odds are
Against you
You can triumph.
