Fate gives up hope,
hope for the future,
and happiness in life,
a good lead to follow
when life's a handful the swallow.
Form:
oh
lord
give me
a handful of
stars
that
snap crackle and pop
upon
the twilight hills
sprinkled
all around me still
With a handful of spinach
three stalks celery
a delicious red apple,
half a cucumber,
a little ginger,
just juice it
Fresh!
A plain ole nutcase
Is that what I am now called
Therapy I go
Without weary bone inside
Though with handful of pecans

Metered fast or slow
There's a kind of poetry
In the sound of rain
The Grand Canyon is
A poem about Nature
That's writing itself
The clamor heard in
The awakening of Spring
Dies down in Summer
Revives briefly 'til
The crisp tanginess of Fall
Succumbs to Winter
Man's wish: Happiness
All men strive its crown to wear,
Handful become kings!

Like the souls of trees
Naked branches in Winter
Pray for early Spring
The earth cannot die
Nature is eternal life
Resurrects each Spring
Sun looks down upon
A field of yellow flowers
Sees mirror image
Sunflowers gaze up
Stunned to see there beaming back
Their own reflection

Summer has moved out
Of temporary lodgings
Fall's lease begins
II
Harvest moon, frosty
Nights, leaves changing hues to show
Autumn's here again

What is a haiku
A moment plucked from time's flow
Summed up in three lines

Writers of haiku
Prove that one doesn't need a
Big pot to pith in
At 3
At 3 a
haughty handful of
mist helped continue to
grow in
density the
relationships among my
neurons (my neurons are
brownish-yellow).
called Black Betty
she’s graceful
a rare beauty
still, quite a handful
she’s had her share
of adventure
and misadventure

Never can you imagine how terribly bad
a handful of War Devils’ breath smells,
During the war,
they appear shamelessly
when they hear their dead SUNS’ knells
The Morning sun
Showered upon me
A handful of joy
The setting sun
Gave an assuring hug
foiling the ploy
of all the slithering abundance of tiresome life
Form:
Giggling Girty became quite shirty
When her boyfriend was acting flirty,
With a handful of mud
Delivered with an awful thud
Her boyfriend is now dizzy and dirty.
I bought loads of fruit with my chums
But I was all fingers and thumbs
I went all shades of red
When I dropped some and said
Hey lady, would you grab my plums?
Handful of flour in a bin
lightly kneaded with
a little oil in a jar
andmixed with such care-
miraculous cake,
sliced up so
fair!

Getting crazy at work
We have new little mermaid toys at work.
I picked up a handful of sebastian ones and said
I've got crabs
Everyone was shocked and then laughed
??
Deep Southern accents
today rarely heard
except in a handful of words
But New Yorkers still manage
to talk so darn fast
their reputation as windbags
forever will last
A law abiding man
Jumps out of logics
Bluffing in public
A handful of simple tricks
An abundance of laughters
But no request
For real rolling coins
Even for himself
Who works wonders
On a cold dark starry night,
God grabbed a handful of stars
Turned them into a golden chariot
To ride across the Milky Way
He moves through other worlds
Lord, bring me your hands
Full of stars
He threw gold dust
into the air
it showered down
like shooting stars.
it tickled my eyes,
i cried to wash
it off
but he threw
yet another
handful
who knows what
he does it for?
The skeletal dome,?
a ghost of Hiroshima's pain,?
stands against the sky.
A child's hand,?
small and delicate,?
traces the curve of a crane.
Paper wings unfold,
?a fragile hope,
?a plea for peace.
A
handful
meets our need-
just a little
digested daily, bread on which to feed
a
spoonful
fills our heart,
saturates us
from top to toe,so helping love to flow
