hot dogs plumply burnt
juicy hamburgers with cheese
Italian chicken
a side of coleslaw
potato salad and more
gooey iced brownie
Ah, the smoky scent hovers
As mesquite burns on
Taking care not to burn them
I flip them often
Juicy hamburgers
Needing some
Cheese!
Fudge
Sweet chocolate
making, smelling, tasting
Energy, crazy, sluggish, heavy
Seasoning, frying, baking
Hamburgers chili
Ground beef
Independence Day
grilled hamburgers and hot dogs
marching band parades
riding the roller coaster
fireworks in the clear night sky

It is warmer
In Paris
They talk about
The weather
Eat frugally
Hamburgers made of
Indian cows
Turnips from Sweden
Potatoes
From Holland
Gobbledegook
And sign on
The dotted line.
Our newest favourite restaurant is called Wimpy's
A character needing hamburgers to fill his rotund belly
From the Popeye cartoon
A loveable buffoon
His big belly jiggled like a bowl full of jelly

His big belly's like mine, a bowl full of jelly
We could have hot dogs or hamburgers
tonight if you rather and save the
pork chop's for Sunday dinner…
Hamburgers or hot dogs with
chili and onions…
Save the best for Sunday dinner…

I have a feeling we are close to the college I say.
My husband has no idea, watching the road like he is.
McDonald's or the Colonel's; which tastes best
Golden arches or buckets: It's a test
Hamburgers or chicken
I choose finger-lickin'
The winner... KFC's crispy fried breast

Hamburger Have It Your Way
Once I like hamburgers but I;
I do not like potato fries;
Cooked two quarter pounds balls of beef;
Stack processed cheese slices with lettuce leaf;
Floor was wet slip, fell spill pop on my eyes;

I typed away, I typed away
All that was in my mind
Everything that was in there
Is written on these lines.
2 hamburgers, 2 french fries
A coke and 1 large iced tea
3 onion rings, 2 small cones
How much will that be please?
blank
Cile Beer
Delicious juicy hot dogs
Slathered with mustard,
Onions, slaw, and chili sauce
Some hamburgers, too,
On soft toasted buns
Cheese slices.
Yum!

There once was a chef named Lew
who swore Samuel's words were true
that Sacred cows make
a great tasting steak
and the best hamburgers too.
Sacred cows make the best hamburger.
Quote by Samuel Clemens (A.K.A. Mark Twain)
(1835-1910) U.S. humorist, writer, and lecturer.
A Seagull’s Lament
I have a bird’s eye view.
I am a seagull after all.
Where are all of the people?
Those nice tourists who fed me
french fries, buns, hamburgers, hot dogs.
A real gourmet’s delight.
What am I going to do?
I guess I will have to go back
To fishing! Ugh!
If hamburgers aren’t really made out of ham
If jelly won't work to get out of a jam
If something that’s old becomes something we knew
It don’t really matter because I love you

Two peas in a pot
Cupcakes and icing
Ketchup and mustard
Peanut butter and Jelly
Hotdogs and hamburgers
Cookies and milk
Are means of our friendship.
Faithful
Radiant
Incredible
Effrontery
Neverending
Dauntless
Strong
Honest
Important
Powerful
And most importantly eternity
for the friendship we have will never end.
Orange Crush made us feel grown.
We were kind of older, on our own.
Grape Kool-aide was set aside.
We had cola now, and potatoes, fried.
I remember thinking the fizz made me feel old.
I was all of fifteen; Orange Crush taste was gold.
We were wearing two-pieced swim suits on the beach.
Eating hamburgers too, which cost twenty-five cents apiece.
Spring is in the air
New life...everywhere
Butterflies and bees
Trees with greening leaves
Flowers...of color
No more sleighing
Children playing...
Baseball and sports
Tank tops...short shorts
Barbecues
Hamburgers...
And hot-dogs
Rainbow...

From a Balcony in Paris
Fine rain
open umbrella
Sitting on the balcony
Of a hotel
Overlooking
Haussmann-Saint Lazare.
Throngs of people
Something has changed
People drink
Starbuck
Eat hamburgers
On the hoof.
Old restaurant closed
Converted
To fast-food joints.
I sigh
Drink from the bottle
Of Bordeaux
To avoid
Getting rainwater
In my wine.
Kisses so sweet, wondrous to remember.
Autumnal ones, under those sensual trees of September.
When loving winds beneath my uniformed skirt did blow.
And I wore your senior ring, which still in memory glows.
Jukeboxes, hamburgers and insatiable hilarity.
But most wonderful of all, 'twas the age of chastity!

It is the fourth of July
The sky is all lit up
With sparks across the sky
Freedom is what it's all about
A day to set aside
And have one big celebration
It's for our independence
That this country fought for
Every day there is a threat
From keeping our enemies away
From our doorstep
With hot dogs and hamburgers
Cooking away at the grill
Please stop for a moment and
Remember what this day is all about
Cars run down the road to New York City
Looking for cattle
There must be another way to make hamburgers
Not too many pastures in Manhattan
Traffic won't permit it
Going zero miles per hour is no way to hunt for dinner
What's McDonald’s secret
They sell billions every year
People in India are vegetarians
Animals have souls and ancestry
Cows carry signs in the city
“No buns or bumpers”
“Beep if you love Jesus”
I am the polar bear who loves to eat sweets.
You can have hams, chickens and other meets.
I like peppermint, chocolate and gingerbread.
Especially those men baked by my cousin Ed.
I am the polar bear who loves to taste icing every day.
Frosting makes my pancakes taste a particularly wonderful way.
You can have barbequed pork, hamburgers, steaks and such.
My mouth is ready for sugars, vanilla, and a cinnamon touch.
