He skated along
road little used,
except by butterflies -
he chased.
On his scooter, he raced.
Suddenly halting,
“Aww…he flied away!”

Carefully grow seeds
Blooming beautiful feelings
Ensconced as treasure
Halting zealous emotions
For the heart love conqueror

Head and heart misaligned
Happiness is denied
Halting the flow of thought
Horrors spawned by mind die
Honing silence with bliss
Hunger for God’s touch grows
Heaven’s light dawns within

A soft calming voice
Caring
Truly cares
Whispered my way
Caressing my lobes -
With delightful sounds of her voice
My body soothed and calm -
halting the darkness inside

Death
Is here,
At the door
With boiling arms
And macabre charms
To lend a gnarly hand
And escort my life away,
On an exclusive one-way trip
Through July hell ‘til it sheds its grip,
Halting when through the Pearly Gates I slip.

Etheree
incoherent ramblings
of an emotionally scared
heart that is
hesitant to jump back
into the emotional
deep end
halting encounters
in order to protect
the heart from
further injury
is now were the
line has been drawn
within the sands of
time

Lyric
The old artist embraced squallor,
resisting riches, halting ardor;
his large paintings remained indoor.
With dust on their canvas,
the images started to lose their color...
as his tears flowed across.

At the crossroad,time ago
A galloping horse knocked down me hard
My world askew.
Today I walk with halting stride
On the rough road where trouble hide
With crutch in hand going slowly.
Yet swaying and flowing another horse
is seen galloping towards me.

outside my dark windows
in sickly yellow streetlights
I see walkers with small support wheels
and halting wheelchairs
fight their way across the pedestrian
but here
with only the standby light from the stereo
I see clearly my crutches dance
in the hallway

Sensual heavenly bodies
Tempting man to risk it all
Answer to a lovers dream
Reclining under with moonbeams
Light years away they do shine
Immittting wave lengths our eyes blind
Great excitement when one falls
Halting me in my steps to stare
Total darkness shows them all

Midnight
©June, 2014
Meandering off to a peaceful sleep,
I have a plethora of dreams.
Daffodils hurled into the bottomless deep,
Night is too short it seems.
Instantly awakened with a rush,
Gathering strength for the fray,
Halting as quickly with a hush,
The dreams have flown away!

Heavy Heart slow to beat,
As the whispers come hastily,
all but halting cold feet
Only lifetime's distraught, wretched spell shall she speak,
steadfast cries in the moonlight,
Wolves howl in late heat
Still standing alone,
not one tear shall break under
this sweet child's face,
smiling throu cold encumber

I do not know?
You, stirring me in the head
Like a warm current
Flowing With the glimmering light
I, seeing the passers-by
Hurrying to and fro
Along different roads
You and I, coming across
As fast as flashes in course
But we must admit:
Humans differ from other lives
By making memorize
That always recollects

Verse
J-oy inside your soul
I-s erasing the blue;
M-ay fifth Friday morn
M-akes sadness far from
Y-ou.
S-heer joy in your soul
I-s eliminating the gray;
N-o sign of tears is found,
G-lee has brightened the day.
C-heer that your birthday brings is halting the rainfall;
O-pen your heart and feel the joy inside your soul.

Pride in my body
Wonder in my thoughts
Living my life
While the rest of the world rots
Molding my life
From my distant past
Growing up and aging
Entirely too fast
Catching up with life
Laid in riddles
Musically requited
By out-of-tune fiddles
Sinister blockage
Halting my life
Dead-end silence
Like a sharpened knife

I knew these halting words were coming,
so why are they still so numbing?
I expected them this whole time,
so why does it still feel like a violent crime?
Like your words pierced deep like a knife,
and piece by piece my heart ripped to shreds.
Like your words were an attempt on my life,
and I was abandoned and left for dead.

People and places like thread
Over and under, sewing your head
Leaking and squeaking
Thrilling and peeking
Elements of illusion
Rebounds with delusion
Grumbling in your ears
Ending and halting heartbeat in tears
Intermittent noises of the unseen
Souls playing around when clock strikes at thirteen
Touching you and me in grim

I lost myself between the lines
Between the forces of you all
My lack of vocabulary stings
And makes me humble and sad
I wish to make this language mine
And write my singing lines with flow
But sometimes it hurts, this
Being me, the halting lyrics
Of my stumbling tongue
The pain of almost but not just
Belonging here

Long wanders across hills
Expiring - Three of my steps were one of my Dad's
Halting will
Refuelling near
Banks brandished fennell freely had
Revered
Herb young
Stung by green glad
Tongue
Washed down with water swills
Sweaty bunch became invalid
Flung

The sun sails along
So does the needle
Meninges they burn
Figuring out the riddles
Coals into the diamond turns
Not in a million years
Inside a volcanic eruption burns
Igniting all the fears
Slowly consuming the dull mind
It kills away your brain
Halting the way you cram
That’s the way its comes my friend
The scary thing you call exam

I do not know?
Rust coats the wheels
beyond appeals;
our halting grind
shall carve behind
the truth of life
shed on their knife.
We’ve laid to waste
by slack and haste
all blessings grown
once called our own
by trusting lies
from fraud’s disguise.
While they juggle
our dire struggle
with childish toys
cranking out noise,
trapped souls despise
each conscious prize.

The reading skills of many men
it’s said, would improve significantly
in the “reading room” when seated
with the printed page, and facilitate
that daily regularity most needed
to prevent stubborn constipation
with an easy smooth evacuation
much less improve or alleviate
a halting grunting vocabulary.
To what extent he has success
that is anyone's guess.

Light Verse
I am everyone at once
Mass conformity of the perplexed individual
The ticking second hand of the 'click' cliche
Incapable of halting time to discover the tangible self
I am everyone at once
Cast as various creatures
Poles apart
Ticking on
Second by second
Minute to minute
Crowd to crowd
Restless without end
Ill at ease within my own chameleon skin
I am everyone at once

They tell you that life’s an obnoxious blare,
And you can’t mend the situation.
There’s no point in stopping ruination
Or halting any stigmatization.
That is just it; life is plainly unfair.
Even if life always seems unfair,
Its joyous aspects must not be lost.
One day, every frau meets her herr.
And although we all have to pay the costs,
A bridge to happiness can still be crossed.
