Premium Member An Eagle's Wise Decision
Mused the eagle soaring through the air

"Well! What is that I see way down there?"

      'Twas a hare and rattlesnake

"I think the hare I'd best take!"

His flight skill earned him the croix de guerre!

It's Not Greek To Me
cherchez la femme but
she's in the crosswalk
now so i didnt see her
because i was seeing
her in my thoughts

and i got thinking
of guerre but more
importantly la vie
and she romantically
language speaks

pardon my Francais
forgive my italiano
babble but let me
flip to page twenty
six and say the same

         in

Papillon Sans Ailes
Un prisonnier
Pas de guerre
Tout ce que j'avais
Cassé

La terre tient mon cœur
Elle tient mes mots
Mais pas plus, il n’y a rien encore
Cassé

C’est facile
Aussi c’est compliqué
C’est facile quand je dis
Pas compliqué, mais cassé

Tout ce qui a été dit a été dit
Je n'ai plus rien
Plus de mots
Plus de pensées

Cassé

La vie s’est passée...

Le Haiku De La Guerre
carry me home boys
for the war is over and
I can't feel my legs

the mothers of war
gave their golden wedding band
and sometimes a son

on a war-torn field
stands a shrine for the children
where one shoe was found

he flew with eagles
on silver wings that he earned
in a place called 'nam

the heart of david
will defeat the goliath
that stands in our way

Guerre
France, fascinating place of beauty and grace overwhelmed by a master and fascist race
with a dagger in one hand and the other, a mace
all who do not succumb to the iron fist
by life’s hand they shall be missed.

France, now a place of shock and fate
twas this mean to be the countries state?
The allies come in green marching band
ready to strike at the fascist hand
to make with us a noble and honoured stand...
