An Eagle's Wise Decision

Mused the eagle soaring through the air

"Well! What is that I see way down there?"

      'Twas a hare and rattlesnake

"I think the hare I'd best take!"

His flight skill earned him the croix de guerre!

This is fantastic Robert ! I love the assimilation! For the lay, who must look up, "croix de guerre", the write has a double meaning. And for you and your fellow USAF, it is a resounding poem ! Great write dear poet ! Have a wonderful weekend my friend ! Much love, james
