Hope

Hope is too wide to imagine

Good enough to comprehend

Sweet enough to desire

And just enough to go against

It is always hope against hope...

Snow, Poem By Professor Pezhman Mosleh

I wish people would be pure like snow
And would be melted with warmness
And would become a moment creator like water
And would go against any block like overflow

Courage

The thought of another
shows what you really have inside
you forget yourself as you go against the tide
going side by side together
to face the scare and get to the other side.

Cultural Norm

There are current trends that the youngsters
are quick to follow or adopt.
People imitate what's "in"
when it comes to fashion,
hobbies, expressions,
and patterns that
go against
the Lord's
laws.

Lessons in life are not always easy to follow Sometimes go against the grain, in pity we wallow Then it all becomes clear We get knocked on our rear Hiding in plain sight, truth can be hard to swallow

What Would You Do If Some One You Loved Died Today

What would you do?
Would you go against God?
Loose faith?
Or even commit suicide?
What would you do?
That’s for you to decide.
I would…
Go to church.
Read the bible.
Or even sing gospel.
Would you?
Live just to die?
Live for your self?
Or even live for God?
That’s your choice.
What would you do?

Industry Vs Inferiority

Clocks tick, pages turn, and pencils furiously inscribe notes; two more chapters.
The house is silent; earbuds blare.
And as the city sleeps, you refuse to conform.
Rest is for the weak; I go against the norm.
The only question is, as the sun retires and the moon clocks in, which will you choose,
Productivity or inferiority?

If It Is True Love

It smells like soft grime,
Engraved to live raw...
Without dating crime,
Or go against law

Just to survive tough,
Regards never plead...
To bail, been so rough;
Handling such huge need

Life keeps on pressure...
Painful stakes handle-
Anew like fresher
Coping with scandal

Enough to quit smoke,
Firing to evoke...

Shower

Laying down
crying in the shower
My conscience is back
and it's killing me

I don't ever want to
go against it again
I can barely walk
I'm so weak in pain

It's time to just fade away
in the water
Get lost in the warmth
and transfer the pain

I need strength
to let me mind sleep
so I can do everything
all over again tomorrow

Don'T Fall By the Wayside

D-on't fall by the wayside,
I-n spite of the rugged wind;
A-im to reach your goal,
N-ever let your ardor
E-nd.

F-all not by the wayside,
L-et not your fervor fail;
O-n the twenty-sixth of August,
R-ow your boat and sail.
E-ven though it's isn't easy to go against the tide;
S-tay focused to emerge winner, don't fall by the wayside.

Extraordinary Rose

R-ose of any hue smells good,
O-ne flower that attracts noses;
S-weet scent in the air
E-liminates the wind's mess.

O-verwhelming beauty
R-emains the name of the game;
D-ecember fifth sunny day
I-s sharing the burning flame.
N-ever go against her fragrance,
A-im not to ever oppose;
R-apture you can truly feel
I-n the extra
O-rdinary rose.

A Horses Heaven

Horses are a thing of beauty
Their silky smooth hair and mane
That seems to go against the wind
Making them seem like
A spirit moving
When parting this life
They go to a phenomenon place
That have golden fences
Where they can en-circle themselves
In a land so beautiful and bright
With lots of shiny stables and
An open range so, that
Their souls can roam freely

To Fret

Life would be a whole lot better
If I weren’t such a fretter.
Yet, that’s just my worried way;
I guess it’s in my DNA.

I wish I could be less uptight
And trust all that will be all right
But worry worms its way inside
And somehow it gets magnified.

To let things slide, it’s very plain,
For me would go against the grain
So what I do, which I regret,
Is agonize and fret, fret, fret!

Premium Member Against the River

In the land of tall buildings
I swim in the seas of suburban life
people and cars move as fish and waves
along with trends and expectations
sometimes stereotypes flood the city
causing people to drown into new ideas
copying one another
On the other hand,
I go against that flow
seeing no need to be brainwashed
into being identical to one another
because being myself
is truly an amazing thing

Enso

I have some amazing collections!

The moon, dark lacunae etched all over,
Broke pearls strung on failed ideas,
Hideous rocks, amassed from my life's path,
A worn-out journal and it's mortifying pages.
The crowds that I always go against,
My unique dancers, shaking a leg with me at times,
And every perfect morn I start by
A waggish baboon that awaits in the mirror to laugh at.

Pathways, so many we can take
Some we choose, put our life at stake
The importance of what is sought
Can go against what we were taught
There is a way through what is low
Tunnels that bring us dark below
To keep on going to the light
That waits at the end, out of sight
Knowing it is there is the key
To create our own destiny
Knowing it is there is the key

Premium Member Beard Tax

With other nobles, I realize that our nation is trying to modernize. As I read this edict, I can’t believe my eyes! This is the latest order received from our tsar. God bless Peter, but this is going too far. I consider this outrageous and weird. He is taxing us if we want to wear a beard! Is it considered barbaric to have facial hair? Go against my tsar’s wishes? I won’t dare.

THE FINAL TIME

I don't see us beating the odds this time,
A bitter truth, a fading rhyme.

I don't know why I keep trying still,
Instead of letting go against my will.

You've shown your true colors, stark and cold,
A story in harsh realities told.

And I won't let a man, no matter who,
Treat me like trash, that much is true.

So I would say, with strength I find,
We are through, our threads untwined.

Prayer For Neighbors

Oh Father God, we pray for all neighbors

That they may not bring disgusting behaviors

Oh Lord Jesus, we pray for every neighbor

That they do not go against our good labor

Oh Holy Spirit, we pray for people we live by

That their goodness & graces they don't deny

This we pray to our One True God. Amen.

Premium Member Wearing a Fig Leaf

I go to bed by nine
I get up by five
Don't do much
But I think I am alive

I do as I am told
Never go against the flow
Better to blend in
Before you start let it end

Save a penny by spending a dime
Hurry it up to save some time
Being blue living green
Hoarding junk having nothing

Loose women and original sin
Adam knew where Eve had been
Tired of pretending not to know
Wearing a fig leaf let's it all show

Eldest One

First time forever,
laying on my bed.
Is me and my eldest,
saying things we've never said.

So demanding in her ways,
she thinks she's getting heard.
But to me in my eyes,
shes just being a little turd.

I love her so deeply,
tried with all my heart.
to bring her up good.
and make sure were not apart.

so much to say,
to go against my words.
as i said in the second verse.
she's just a little turd.

Angel In Masque

Stars on strings dangle.
The prance of a lovely angel,
Infatuates those who know,
She will go against your foe.

Curtains unveil new life,
A dreamy eclipse reflects a knife.
Dull metallics do show,
She will greet your foe.

Lights from the heavens rain,
Luminating a growing pain.
Darkening course veins flow,
She will adore your foe.

Crumbling walls ungulate
Destruction writes a fate,
A bruised demon doth crow.
She is your foe.
