Two garden snails met by the way,
and one of them had this to say;
“Last night I did manage,
to eat half a cabbage,
now I feel a mite ‘sluggish’ today”.
Stomach grawling, lusting mouth frothing above.
Much gluttonousness no matter the mood.
Gluttony Tony hungers not for love;
Though on the contrary indeed loves food.
I confess I convincingly committed contemptible crimes
Beguiling bewitching beauty beyond my bona fide bounty
Gazed galvanic glances guiltily
Thus glamorized God's grave gluttony.
Greeness they swollen
Raw or cooked
In a non-meat and non-gluttony way
A truely remarkable act of
Protection of wild life and pets
Maybe a good proposal for
A future memorial day
I'm in the water
Yet I can't swim
I drink tap water
Gluttony
Now I'm drowning.

GLUTTONY
We hunger for the salted tales
of bland and spiceless lives
We gorge ourselves on tasteless news
as soon as it arrives
We savor cuts of bigotry
then stuff ourselves with hate
While grinding on the rumor mill
that seasons up our plate
Every sin is a way to get better
Its not GREED if you want extra
The lazy SLOTH need not do all
When is VANITY classed a fall
Is it wrong to LUST after health
Or take extra PRIDE in yourself
For sure GLUTTONY is hunger
I think the ruler ENVY the sinner
A serving size they say is wise
Never issued a measuring cup
Nobody led with avoid demise
Here take a sweet nothing, yup!
