Turncoat Flavor

All
of our
picnic dates
like summer heat
became memories;
Now with a little bite
gluttony turns my stomach;
A taste I once loved makes me sick;
Starve or should I indulge my cravings?
I can’t let turncoat flavor wake a ghost.
