Notes About The Poem

Clear

The masses are blind
to the concentration camps
over five thousand children separated
tell me what is a child's crime?
this Christmas as you dabbled in gluttony
remember the weak and needy
you left behind
remember too
Hitler had laws

As a person and as a German by birth, I could not agree more. And as poets we have to shout your message from the roof tops. Kind wishes, Kai

There are so many in need. We need to shift our focus. A great new series on Netflix, Messiah, brought home this message...kind of like the book Homes

Words as swords of many a fold of meaning, compassion and awareness as opposed to words filled with void and lifelessness.. Happy New Year, Arthur! A great pleasure to read your poetry.. Best Regards and blessings.
