She is a fantastic fibber
Annabelle Gads
A fun-filled, fighter,a flirt and a felon.

Trump Does Disappear

Gads.

Trump Does Disappear

When Trump does disappear,
And he is no longer here,
Out of site,
Day and night,
New direction poems will steer.

Thoughts We Prayed Would Parish

Gads. I am getting tired. How about
you completing this for me using
cherish, perish, wish and fish for
a divine dish.

So I can spend some time with you
But, alas

Now, I’m frustrated
Eek gads!

Trump Away With Never Get

Trump Away With Never Get

We are really sure and willing to bet,
Trump away with he cannot ever get;
More reading,
Surely needing,
Who looked like moron when we met.

Jim Horn

Gads. Only one person has read my
last poem.

One Bloody Bastard

Watching episodes of The Tudors, I
cringe at examples of King Henry’s
pride and ruthlessness, casting off
wives and devotees with ease.. . .
As he gads about with
a new flame, an axe
falls again and
again on
Cromwell’s
neck.

Politicians Love Their Each Laurel

Politicians Love Their Each Laurel

Not only do politicians love each laurel,
Their responses seem to sound choral,

And impacts on us have been immortal.

Jim Horn

Gads. It is becoming more difficult to
write poems everyday. Trump is having
quite an impact on me.

With Poems Coasted and Was Roasted

With Poems Coasted and Was Roasted

Wrote many poems as along I had coasted,
And reviewed and ended up being roasted;
Meant to be,
I could see,
After they to Poetry Soup all were posted.

Jim Horn

Gads. I am going to be 78 on June 26th, 2019.

Front Gutter Overflowing Again

Gads. Our gutter in front was overflowing again.
We have really been getting a lot of rain lately.
Have been saving flower seed and other odds
and ends for you. Think my grass will need
one last cutting for the year. Watched our
virtual church service on line. Jill is
whipping up some great soup.

Soul To God Does Cling

Soul To God Does Cling

Small bird cautiously wants to take wing,
While my soul to God so tightly will cling,
Waiting for me,
In heaven to see,
And has caused our choir to greatly sing.

Jim Horn

Lord save the Mueller letter.

Gads. I am losing much of my ambition
to write poetry and am not sure why.

Autumn

E-gads! I wanted to enter
this contest...now, not an adjective left --
Any attempt to describe would be theft!

Nothing related to do, but visit my mountain kin,
Jethro and Sue -- having finished my last jug of
moonshine gin, back I go to family distillers – enjoy
your crisp leaves and darling speckled colors, ‘tis also
the season
for clear Applejack lovers!

Try To Die and Why

Try To Die and Why

There are those things which we try;
Some do have desire and want to die;
And admit,
Escape from it;
While rest of us have wondered why.

When I went to bed prayers have said,
And then off into the night my life sped;
Wondered why,
I will die;
Pretty soon eventually did end up dead.

Jim Horn

Why am I having these thoughts and
dreams? Gads. I will be 78 on June
26th. My brother is 70 today.

No Collusion Or Corruption

No Collusion Or Corruption

Gads. How many times have we heard this now.
Sounds like someone with a persecution complex
and feelings of inferiority to me. Never heard of
any other President ever having this before.

Was no collusion
Or else any obstruction
Trump has committed.

Jim Horn

Russia really fixed us with a lulu
for President. Trump Tower and
Golden Shower. No telling what
else he has done. Sorry. Had to
vent to get unbent so this I sent.
