Sunset
Gilded parasol on horizon's edge twirling
Twilight's lamp shade dying embers swirling
Sun's spent beams with embroidered frills quilting
Patchwork of tinctured gases simmering
Deep red, burnt orange ridges brimming
Violet, creme pastels periphery fringing
Dusk's opaque veil with palling shadows dimming...

My Night
Covering amongst
day’s festivity,
night’s tiny
sparkle –
his eyes,
muttering the
lurk of
a damp,
somber dawn;
the trickling
of hued
droplets fringing
the wavering
green of
dark, deep
wells;
the sweep
of an owl,
cutting past
the daggers
of wind,
the flesh of
my

His day of

intuitions –
my night
of his
absence....

Evening
The afternoon spilt gold on the hills,
Now the hills are dreamy eyelids
Fringing the lake's silver eye,
And the evening sky lies still.

The last birds capture colour on their wings,
All over the world hear voices sing
In praise to the Maker of everything.

The Fall
Here I fall down to vanish in the air
up I go to form the cloud and again
I fall upon the sea and I fall upon the desert
I fall upon the mountain cliff and I fall upon the fringing reef
I fall to shape the rainbow and I fall to cause the flood
I fall to flow in the river and I fall to flow in the blood
I fall and fall gain, just to fall for that one leaf
when I know this is the moment I have been falling for through out my life...

Grows the Night
Grows the night, tremulous passage nigh
Aught of earth ushered my boat of hope
Tint of virtue brightening cressets
Lights of love, I left behind the shore.

Grows the night, for the glitter I rove
For the lost heaven fringing my fate
Hue of kindness, I shown in the land
Eased the pain of death, while grows the night.
