The Not So Original Monoku Challenge

fringing striped wingspans collapse majestically on the rocking wharf

yes, I remember this one. Big congrats to you, Balveen. I finally looked it up and found out that word can be used many different ways, not just fringed. So you did just fine with that word!!

Though I changed, I still like 'fringy' better. Anyway, trivial matters and we move on. All the same, thanks Andrea! I love your sweet inputs.

Great choice of words in this ... you've captured it beautifully as "majestic" was the first word that came to my mind when looking at this photo ... and the rocking wharf is a nice touch too. Congrats and thanks for participating in my contest!

Thanks Timothy! After being corrected, I changed 'fringy' to 'fringing' on the very first day of my submission, thinking there might be many who think 'fringy' doesn't exist or is inappropriate. I appreciate the correction and have no regrets. But it does exist and is an adjective( Lol!). It is newly added to thesaurus and you'll find it in the urban dictionary, free dictionary,.... .So, cheer up!

GOOD one. I think if you took out the word fringy (which does not exist in English) you would have a good chance to win!
