The mist,
Dances,
like ballerina heels,
It kisses,
The fountains,
And irises,
Bows and sways on

whispering city
blaring-chattering fountains
weeping train-tunnels
in prayer, I am taking
the one - thy name: my silence
Drops of rain are so liquid allies
that embrace each other in a trance, in fever
come together to create fountains and river
lavender fields bloom
Springtide illuminates grace
fountains spray with youth

My Friend
You are as Beautiful As Nature
As ture As Purewater From Fountains
And You are As Lovely as My Heart Feels For You
Opalescent landform
Optimum of deserts
Optimism-provoking
Oozes with fresh fountains
Opulent sun and shade
One-of-a-kind place that
Offers relaxation
a purveyor of pretend promises
duplicitous diatribe
fountains of false forecasts

Celestial mountains
Magnifient fountains
Collide and fall low
Into the valley below
Gigantic, glacier mountains
Rise tall, mighty, vigilant and triumphant
Meet me by the fountains brink
bring your quill and maybe ink
for you are all ones that blink
20, 40 count them all
but watch your step
as you may fall.
the ingenious geese,
in the pond, fluttering wings -
six fountains of grace
they take off like jet fighters
like blue angels all in synch
having rainbowed fountains of love for all is the joy of any lifetime

Tree of wisdom’s amber dates
Tree of life’s white grapes
Bread that never perishes
Wisdom’s nice fig leaves
Blessed honey fountains
Blessed grape juice

Written words by James Edward Lee Sr. 2018©
Fighting against you, attacking with words,
hatred my weapon inscribed
Fountains of blood each chapter exudes,
keeping you distant—forever alive
(Penn Medicine Radnor: April, 2020)
My heart is theirs
Closest to the crystal fountains
My heart is theirs
Nearby in our forest so green
Carved wetly into every oak
(Though I thought I solely owned it)
My heart is theirs

hot and tangy
full of adventure and thrill
shadows walking on buildings
mist from fountains
clinging to your face
new and exciting people
fun around every corner
Rainbows of lightning
Amber gold
Topaz sun sighted
Colors glow
Egyptian magic
All I know
Honey-green static
Through window
Middle age mountains
I behold
Blue frigid fountains
In my soul
Devine bride in white
floating down rose petaled aisle
fountains of pleasure

Contest Haiku- I love u
Sponsored by James Edward Lee Sr.
Biking through Salt Lake City
Homes of well knit, croquet stature
With Oxford fountains flowing
Forcibly pin my eye
I pedal a block to see streets missing teeth
Bank signs, chipped paint and amazon lawns
I love my chocolate
by megagallons
of extravagance
served in fountains
dipping strawberries
marshmallows
and bananas
such delightful opulence
forever and a day
dreamily indulging

Ever heard of Aloe Vera Oil Shampoo, my friends?
Not since the Napoleonic Wars were nearing an end
It's been around since
Pretty young nymphs
Danced playfully around fountains in their Depends
Flaws and faults blame each other.
Demonized like Succubus-Incubus.
Philautia, amour propre cursed lover.
Garden fountains, tears and mucus.
Morally peaceful dignity of lover.
Love is aloof and leaves the circus.
Morning comes with a golden glow
Rivers run and the fountains flow
Fair wind seeks for a chance to blow
Warmth of sun melts the pressing snow
Sunshine finds a new way to show
For hopeful creatures down below
