Rabid Curs
The war-dogs chew at the throat of Man,
Killing as canines can,
With drooling jowls and fetor that fouls
The air, with harrowing warrior-howls--
They herald the End with their yelps and yowls....

Friends, family gather,
for friendly rivalry.
Food and drink are a must!

To Live
TO LIVE
I am looking for the next life to live
Are you still having any fouls to give
Let's ignore the facts of any sieve
Don't forget, don't remember, just forgive

Foils and perils
Horrifying and terrible
Well documented after the fact
Misunderstood totally at the time

Fouls and perils
Shoved to the back of your mind
To be brought out and made fun
During family gatherings...

History Re-Wriiten
In healthy bound of dreams
Reclaim rejoice its prays
In history surge fouls plays
Re-written to kill its hero

Aiming its weapon to survive
No save place to be happy
Surcharge the guidance in given rules
Affirm stop insanity only Gods pray...

Bad Things
Hanging from willows
     weeping
sludge slimy green
     fouls
this page
of intended pristine.

Intruding on this peaceful
     clean
sits your polluted
     trespass
tainting all who pass
     through this life.

Ugly is your name.
Deceit is your shame....

(Before Spellcheck)

After arguing fouls or fowls
Some Hebrew scribes throw in their towels
The Hebrew God growls,
"Forget the damn vowels!*
You'll know if you're right in your bowels!"

*Hebrew scribes omit vowels
so scholars can argue whether
HLV=HALAV or HELEV, etc....

Target
In a football pitch,
Where player defends each other,
Trying to win
And admit fouls,
A goal is everyone’s target.
In our daily practice,
Achievement is all success,
A person commits crime,
When he founds that
His opponent is strong
Or clever than him.
A person’s defeat is
A person‘s effort....

Most time is
unremarkable:

the conscious mind asleep
between stitches and scores
hoots and howls
sweet scents and fouls
hunger and bowels--

viruses needing cures,
shifting earth
and weather skewers
determining our garments
and directions…

even our intimate affections
a product of environment,
each a prison of sorts

Strange, yet God claims
not to lead us…...

The censer clanks
the smoke rises.
An attempt is made
to hypnotize.
It wafts across
the naive
The priest like
a magician has
a trick he uses
to deceive.
The incense odor,
causes a spiritual
trip.
Chanting in Latin,
locks his grip.
Affecting only
those who are on
 a guilt trip.
A stronger odor
fouls the air.
Stench from children gropers,
that the vestment clad
denier shares....

A Gambling Nation
That rudder, discontent, fouls us with prey
and snarls its union, gratitude, with stray
and so a Nation two-ply in convey
does over burden choice, with fools own play!

How deep the lesson, struggle costs relay
and pulls the vessel downward as to fray.
We cannot move the helm, can't turn to bay,
the cargo undermining hedges stay ~

So gaming kills the soul . . . by its parlay,
and gambling 'tis of thee becomes obey!...

Friend Zone
On a game field of the greenest grass
We’d touch, I’d run, and you’d pass.
I’d gain ground and you’d intercept.
Every game, we leapt and swept
Into the end zone to a climatic end;
Nothing left to defend or offend,
Too many touchdowns to surmount,
No personal injuries or fouls to recount.
Then, offsides, false start, taunting?
Your penalty flags left me wanting,
Challenging every yellow thong thrown;
Then ejected, exiled to the Friend Zone!...

Bothered By the Why
Why are you prepared to go to war with your neighbor?
Yet not with the gangs who control the street,
Your children walk down.

Why can you not smell the corruption?
That fouls the air in town,
When you smell your neighbor's apple pie and choose to reject it.

Why do you spread gossip?
And fake news,
Instead of inviting neighbors' to barbecues.

Why am I not surprised any more?
At anything you do.
I just hope your neighbor has more sense than you....

The King of Glory
I think I shall never sing
A sincere song that will thrill the king,

A king whose love fills the earth
Where he mould men whom he gave His breath.

I think I shall never know
The secret that makes seeds into trees grow

The secret known from the beginning
By Him who gave birds and fouls wings for flying

I think I shall never see
The glory of Him who has power to set free,

He set me free from myself
So I won’t be like a book that’s left the shelf....

Forged By Fire
Listen to poem:
Forged by fire, my burning heart
As the hammer pounds to shape
The sacrificial apatite of the gods
Within the delusory Dragons Den
And love hibernates in a Hellion hole

Where demons dine demanding death
A pernicious smell fouls the ambient air
The Hydra prepares to unleash her wrath
For love is mangled in the molded madness
Left to the ravaging ruins a statue appears.
