Only but foreshadowing
Of how life will be.

Is me, finally, so free....

Ravens

Amidst the storm, dark ravens fly,
Foreshadowing that someone will die,

Caw-caw they croak, watching us o'er,
It's us against them, and then no more.

War Whith In My Enamies
I lay my life in the enemies’ hands
Knowing no end to liberty
Staying awake in the present
Foreshadowing takes place
In the deepest emotions
There’s a stillness that
Awaits inside my soul
Leaving it to die...

Foreshadowing
Crows gather.
Turtles float deeper
on the buoyant pond scum.

It's going to be a beautiful day
in Alaska.

Here,
the crows are crowding trees,
breeding shadows.

The sky looks like it wants
their black wings....

Historical Foreshadowing

Marring-
The once brilliant Sanctuary
-A commonplace Event-
Without a place.

An opening up
Of old and new torments
And
    Run
        On
           Thoughts

-Half Unanswered-

Stop at the border
-In semidarkness-
The edge of eternity....

Impromptu
the sun
is deceiving so
is my breathing
i died inside
and outside
the sun
though blindingly
shining now
high noon
shares no
warmth

thirteen degrees
the days are
getting longer
along with
my shadow
the forecast
foreshadowing
a longer winter then
entering
a song singing
spring...

Premium Member Prisoners of My Mind
My eyes today cry tears of sorrow
Foreshadowing a future of sad tomorrows
A single rose placed on a wooden box
Between Bible pages are pressed some locks

Memories of a first shared kiss
Three small words that I'm sure to miss
Are all there is that is left behind
Which always will be prisoners of my mind...

Picking Predictions
All I know
	Is that I know nothing
Life just another
	Mystery novel
With no ending
	Until the end
So mysterious,
We don’t even know how many pages
No foreshadowing
As to what happens when we go
Pick your prediction
	It’s all you’ve got
Because you can’t count
Each grain of sand in the hourglass...

The Span
a tempest rages
in a ringing shell

sleep slopes down
into waveless depths

The mind has miles
leagues foreshadowing
the whole span of a moment
in full

A gulls gullet opens -
it speaks of sea-dreams
never remembered

a child looks out beyond
a plunging bed

to a place
where legs dangle
over old age...

Night Storm
A storm on the edge of sleep,
a night horse,
black fire blown through
wind-hollowed lungs.

A tempest in the ringing shell of self
where sleep slopes, swells,
rolls phantom eyes in a drowning place.

The mind has miles --- a long foreshadowing.
a storm-child driven to an edge
where his sleepy legs
dangle
over a pitched and plunging bed....

Crone
An withered crone in a park
where the young play.
Her eyes are deep set
but the blue within them is clear.
Her flesh clings to crooked bones,
yet she is a vision
there among the youthful,
a message for all those
who will overcome.
She’s foreshadowing, an augury
that we all must, in the end,
survive ourselves
with a formidable and life well lived....

Tomorrow
I was lost to yesterday
She had fled to tomorrow
Distance growing between us
A foreshadowing of sorrow

Sticky sweet love
Intertwined in doubt
Spooning our secrets
As suspicion mounts

Her feet are cold
The sheets emotionally bare
Refusing admission
To the requiem of a love affair

Soured by silence
Truth coalesced
Yesterday doesn’t want
Tomorrow to confess...

Double Rainbow
The hard rain tap danced;
Quickly finishing the song,
Winds parted the clouds.

The bright setting sun
Painted a double rainbow
Conjoined by blue mist.

Its water colors
So vivid seemed tangible
Piercing through sky dust.

Amber rays mirrored
The bow in opposition
Foreshadowing night.

Yet, the very ends
Of the arc I saw touched earth.
...felt I could find gold....

So many challenges and never will I run
I shall never stand down till this battle is won I was destined to win

The mind has miles --- a long foreshadowing.

The red gullets of storm gulls open

Sun-Dial's Foreshadowing Time
As the day lengthens
and sun grows high,
your shadow shortens
as the day goes by,

and i think of you
in noon's repose,
and wonder where
your shadow goes.

Then there you are
on the other side,
in shadow's length
you no longer hide,

afternoon shadow
you slowly slide,
abiding once again
'til your light's revived.

One more thing I'll say
before I'm through,
I've never before met
a gnomon like you.

A Setting Moon
The sun rises and falls,
foreshadowing whats to happen to us all,
we wait each day,
for another hopeful one to come,
but little do we know,
we could be another one,
another waste of human air,
with nothing grand,
so no one cares,
another life,
thats not been liven,
no longer to exist,
in this place that were given,
another slacker,
another lier,
another one whos way to tierd,
another fall of dusk,
another rise of dark,
another stone head set in place for us....
