A Third Party Candidate
You can run for office with a third party. Most people will say that is not where it’s at. Any attempt will be almost foolhardy. You must be Republican or Democrat.

Get Along
Why can't we all just get along

Is it because some simply cannot comprehend

We are all different with opposing views and seperate lives

And the foolhardy in us

Just won't let us be

Even when we disagree...

World Crises Miracle Man 6-8-2022 In times of crisis the foolhardy question, has God abandoned us, on this road we trod? Quite the contrary, its man’s transgression, and he, who has turned his back on God.

Daydream
I mused, foolhardy. I messed around
With sentiment attached to place.
Now soul makes off with my faculties!
Essence parts with my name and face!

Down the otway's surge of tranquil-sipped
Memories, fern-chilled; into the bay
Apollo, as alluvial gold
Which flow. Whence comes then my dismay?...

Premium Member Czar and His Fawning Sycophants
The Czar’s happily fawning sycophants,
Threw flattery onto him like a cloak.
Marched in his rallies like S.S. ants.
Lackeys, bootlicks, and lickspittles. Ain’t no joke!

Surrounded him with compliments and affection.
Foolhardy Emperor was so incredibly pleased no doubt.
Incredulously thought he had won the election!
Until he sneezed and a four-year-old called him out....

Leprosy
Leprosy

Foolhardy blight that languishes in a musosal drop
Transmitted to the genetically predisposed
That causes dermal cells to mutate
With its tubercle relative to sympathize
Slow surface lesions manifest
And the host begins to realize
Its ancient punishment from the gods
Singled out to be excluded
In colonies for those alike
As microbacterium leprae proceeds to colonize...

Wish Upon a Star
Why try to catch a falling star?
At best, it’s a foolhardy notion,
I rather stand in front of a car
Crawl up to the highest peak
Sail the seas and Atlantis I seek
And set the clock of fate in motion,
Or cower behind a lie, frail and meek
And drink myself silly in a bar!

Morning Thoughts Written: by Tom Wright 5/14/2016 Sifting through the ashes of time, I brush against antiquated memories & unspoken words. Words which were intended but lacked impetus; I come across faces I can’t recall, And find myself perplexed on why they exist. Age has placed a barrier that separates me, Leaving me to feel like a foolhardy visitor in my past;

Not For the Finicky Or Fainthearted
My mind is experiencing a fastidious flatulence; slightly fiendish, and not for the
finicky or fainthearted.
I fidget amidst it's fanatical far-fetched farce yet stand fearless, watching it's face
flounder in a foolhardy feeble-minded foible.
With fervor I say farewell forever to it's festering, feverish fetish, as it's frantic
fiasco foams, flails and finally fails.

Balsam swept windsong
Droplets align brusque seas
Sailors beware perilous lees

Fickle fathoms she weeps
Discorded notion steeps

Bounden to celestial call

Envious tis sodden domain
Cast to enchanted sea
Foolhardy, thou may be

Hasten to landlubber true
By chance nary pines you
Submerged in foamy cascade
 Seawaters tis possessive maid...

Premium Member The Unsupervised Stop Sign
The lure of the inky depths
of the dark web...
too much temptation
for innocents out for a good time

Were they foolhardy
or simply naïve
sadly for them
unsupervised
there was no stop sign

I guess they couldn’t resist
the attraction of illicit drugs
posted through their door
by an unsuspecting mail man

Grieving parents
still mourn the loss
of two beloved sons
Their final resting place
an ice cold mortuary slab...

Premium Member The Strait and Narrow
The Strait & Narrow 6-23-2016 Some spent adolescence in foolhardy thought, then observing the sun setting on advanced days. Thinking they could handle whatever life brought, but seeing at the end it isn’t the fiddler who pays. So hold head a little higher, don’t cross the line, for mistakes we’ve made we’ll be held accountable. Take the high road, trust God, and you’ll do fine, in trusting God, everything, becomes surmountable.

Electoral Participation
When the monopoly game rings out
Who stands stubborn pushing their clout?
Where does reality bounce?
On the chessboard of hope and change
Taxes rearranged, fiat shuffling

Help the sick and needy
The court jester needs buffering
I'm calling the foolhardy bluff
That redistricts citizen electioneering
The jibe is up
Career politicians dancing with time
While TV auctions stamp the mind
We must participate
In the creation of our own lives
Hatchet the grid that chants otherwise...

Where Else Will We Go
WHERE ELSE WILL WE GO

When the influx of love drizzles
But vapourize in blazing sun
Fleeing from hinterland
An errant boy brings irrversible
Crystalline flesh of life
Latecomers by plight
Where shall we hide the flame,
Kept in heart, our children
Peep out breaking the shell
Haphazard step to culpable air
Freeze, no more foolhardy steps
Rush to preserve the flame
Before it get strangled in cool shores
Laced with foamy salt of life.

What else shall we do ?
Where else will we go ?...
