Wish Upon a Star

Why try to catch a falling star?
At best, it’s a foolhardy notion,
I rather stand in front of a car
Crawl up to the highest peak
Sail the seas and Atlantis I seek
And set the clock of fate in motion,
Or cower behind a lie, frail and meek
And drink myself silly in a bar!
