Premium Member Demo Man

Dan the Man was a demo man
demolitions were his main plan
	lost his toes
	then his nose
poor Dan’s plan’s a flash in the pan

Premium Member Flasher

There once was a froggy named Dan
prided himself how fast he ran
	he hopped into view
	croaked in the stew
his legs were a flash in the pan.

Some

i think we do agree, before we are born , to spend some time together, the ones that draw and startle some, but never stay no never, one, a flash in the pan, a labour of love, and then they're gone forever??? some? Don re: "Another Life" Debbie Duncan

Out of the gate
Starting off great
Fast as he can
Flash in the pan
Not halfway there
Warning signs flare
Starting to care:
Who snatched the air?
Feeling the burn
Got much to learn
Big sweaty mass
Near out of gas
Running on fumes
Disaster looms
End is in sight
Form’s not so tight
Finish line crossed
One thing’s not lost:
Still got his grin
Do it again!

A Flash In the Pan

embrace the utterly fleeting nature of your
existence
for within moments you will disappear
& all that you think matters now
all your
plans
for future endeavors, for relationships, for trips &
attempts at ascension within some kind of
labor structure---
they all are reduced to the head of
a
needle---
& as the smoke from that last obliterating fire
you’re whisked away by the
wind.

A Flash In the Pan

My mind won't get in to gear
Memories come and go like a flash in
The old pan.
Neopolitan
My mom's favorite ice cream that's clear.
Shoot! I had something else it just
Disappeared
Some thing about spick and span.
My mind won't get in to gear
Memories come and go like a flash in
The old pan.
Why won't it appear?
Mind scan
Brain is over ran
Time to change my atmosphere.
My mind won't get in to gear.

Premium Member Kill The Monsters

On a quest to kill all the monsters..

auto repairs,
wifi lag,
busted pipes,
the style but no ride.

Kill all the monsters.

Hunger and hopelessness,
no ambition,
overpriced everything,
that radicalized A.I.

Kill all the monsters.

Anxiety,
abusing your body,
insomnia,
any flash in the pan.

Kill all the monsters.

Lost winning lottery ticket,
an addiction to possibility,
hypocrisy, and paranoia.

To kill all these monsters, I’m on a quest.

Oh Lord I did not know the man
My Father a flash in the pan
Never in my life was it fate,
We both apart lived as strangers
My life empty stale no dangers
Yet without malice without hate,
Oh Lord I did not know the man
My Father a flash in the pan.

Let me clasp that day of respect
Tried to care explain his aspect,
Never in my life was it fate
Yet without malice without hate,
Oh Lord I did not know the man
My Father a flash in the pan.
