Patience, Grasshopper

Out of the gate Starting off great Fast as he can Flash in the pan Not halfway there Warning signs flare Starting to care: Who snatched the air? Feeling the burn Got much to learn Big sweaty mass Near out of gas Running on fumes Disaster looms End is in sight Form’s not so tight Finish line crossed One thing’s not lost: Still got his grin Do it again!
