Black Cat
The black cat kept following this man
Who covered him with a bag of black sand
After clawing his way out
He stood there and pout
Then planned his revenge firsthand...

It doesn’t have to be a million rand because not all of us can be that grand. We can go to the library and give a hand, Teaching children to read is in demand. Assist at a charity is also a way of taking a stand Giving the less fortunate a smile firsthand. Aid in preparing food is a helping hand The little things we do unplanned, Will make their hearts expand.

Late Winter Sunrise
From the morning twilight,

the sun rises too highlight,

a beginning of earthly birthright,

and set about the day,

The light, shining firsthand,

shimmers across the land,

as night feels its strife,

light's behemence to life.

The morning dew,

who once condensed,

decamps into air,

as incalescense prospers.

A light breeze jostles,

a branch in season dormant,

life passionately waiting,

this cold season's debarment....

Who I Am
You heard the rhythm of my music

But didn't know what I was playing.

You heard the sound of my voice

But didn't know what I was saying.

You saw the words of my writing

But didn't know how to read it.

You saw the deeds of my heart

But didn't know what should proceed it.

Lest seeing you would realize,

Lest hearing you would understand

And perceive that all I say and do

Is who I am to be known firsthand....

9-11
The day that tragedy struck the land,
We watched two buildings fall like sand.
We saw the face of death firsthand.
To this day, we don't understand.

The day in which we will remember.
The day where families were changed forever.
On this day we gather together,
To honor those who died in September.

But every day we must go on.
Accept that those we love are gone.
Try not to stay awake past dawn,
Thinking of those who have passed on....

Molester
A smile on the face as the heart bleeds to cry,
The show must go on, a jester seems to sigh.
Tears in check, lost love and a dance to perform.
Her errors in encounters with the third kind.

Notions in fulfillment nature to rejoice,
Lock emotional fallacy bounded by choice,
Dancing to her rhythms within opera norms,
Holds her grin in fancy defiant as a cat.

Mankind sold in ransom little to understand?
UN-mask lady joker with delights firsthand....

Listen to poem:
In full abandon to splendor,
We immerse in sweet surrender,
For the time to be just somewhere,
When we breathe the words by Voltaire.

To stroll the pathways of free souls,
Advance concepts of righteous goals,
Detachment from church and the state,
And learned traits firsthand on our plate.
