Awakening

a warrior awakes
full~ hardened at sunrise
love breaks his fasting

quickening~ a warrior wakes

Fasting

If you ever have the chance to fast,
One thing you’ll want to know
Is why, as time goes crawling past,
The hours seem so slow!

Thirst

My throat feels sore,
   A thirst that need to adore;
A needless bore,
Amidst the heat within my core.

Happy Ramadhan ...

Every Believer On Earth

every believer on earth
learn carpentry skills
and build a long ladder
to climb to heaven
prayers and fasting
are delaying tactics
with long rough routes

Premium Member HUNGER PANGS

ah, the perils of intermittent fasting...

Cravings call my name at night, cookies whisper soft delight; willpower flees out of sight~ salad waits alone.

Ramadan Fasting

Fast in forgiving sins
Fast in gaining rewards
Fast in taking the way to Heaven
Fast in protects from the fire of Hell
Fasting makes pale with God for bending for his commands!

Backslider

Sin took away your Holy Spirit
Sin took away my Will
Sin took away my Praying
Sin took away my Fasting
Sin took away my Tithing
But Sin could not take away your Word In My Heart

Ramadan

Real positive season
A month of fasting,
Magnanimity, generosity ,and maidenly
A time to give up ugly saying and acts
Darling Ramadan!
Am I lucky?
Not sure till the end of it.

ripening cherries
hanging on trees in daylight~
bats feasting at night;

at morning sunshine
wastage and garbage on ground~
harvest hopes shattered.

The meow bus

On meow buses
no cat fusses.
Sweet little kitties
meow rodent ditties;
deck out bunting
time for hunting.
With pounding paws
furries prime claws.
Amid glad rasping
there is no fasting.

Jeremiah feels the heat forthrightly
His donations lower more than slightly
While the plate is passing
Seems surely it’s fasting
As it stops and dangles politely

False promises that
 you made to me
Letting me see
What you wanted
Me to see
Giving me hope
When none was there
Making me care
And leaving me scared
 Fasting my heart
To fill me with doubt
Making me feel
Just like a small mouse

Orange Silk Robe

Buddhists monk
Dressed in orange silk robe
Sitting in the city’s square
Burning incense and chanting prayers
After seven day of fasting,
He sprinkles gasoline over his entire body
Then, lighting a match,
Becoming this human touch,
Bringing light to this world

Law of the Ocean

Silver scales sink in emerald sea
remains of battle, survivors flee
like sunlit rain in forest silent
spiraling down, bottomward sent.

Hungry mouths do now not seek,
tasty flashes. . . the slow, the weak.
No markers note their quiet passing.
except filled bellies, now not fasting.

Lace

Sheer cut lace,
A small smile on your face,
On this night of nights We become one,
Lay you gently into the bed,
as I lay my hand upon your head,
Tears not shed glitter in my eye's,
For my love is forever lasting,
And now the fasting is over,so now I let my eyes drink in your sight.

Two Bonsai Trees

Two bonsai trees
craving for clouds
a few handfuls of rain

spiky nuggets
crying wine glass
fasting salivas
all might drench
taking the wrench off
the frontal lobe
letting a sprout
lift it's face

calling lips
on pointed treetops

We R Praying For Them

palings of a stockade
looking out for death
dislocation of aggression
under estimating the brutality
of wars we cry helpless
majority of democracy
brainwashed by the cruel
minority clamouring for
power to wipe out the
security of thoughts
we are praying for
them now here
on three legs
fasting

Strong, brave and beautiful - the queen.
Godsend - cousins in one accord.
Prayer and fasting on scene.
Strong, brave and beautiful - the queen
uninvited… must intervene.
For such a time as this, dear Lord.
Strong, brave and beautiful - the queen.
Godsend - cousins in one accord.

Marital Foetus

All things considered,
I saw it coming,
temperature'd risen
I felt such famine.

I watched you passing,
eyes filled with chores,
and hated fasting,
craved for your shores.

My being, swollen,
dreamed of embraces,
your love, delivered,
in secret places.

Humour my cravings
my love deliver,
out of your savings
in lust and fever.

A--Cceptance

Its the bearing of the soul
Its the calling for help
Its the facing of the truth
Its the off loading of sins

Its about faith
Its about honesty
Its about spiritual growth
Its about your belief

Its the distinguishment of theories
Its the preparation of spiritual strength
Its the accomplishment of fasting
Its the smartest thing to do
