Premium Member THANKFUL FOR THE MOON

Today I’m thankful for the moon:
For it is more than just a reflection of the sun’s far-reaching beams…
It also has the power to make us fall in love
and it’s where we go…to dream

King David arose at twelve ev'ry night
Hadn't forgotten to snuff out the light --
   He just wanted to pray
'Till the dawn lit the day --
To chant lyrical psalms ~ Heavenly Heights

                                     the far-reaching dreams
dimly lit full moon - shining -
                                         what a pretty sight

Transient Time

Tempted to capture the wandering
Underused, vacant-veiled moments
That time throws asunder
Inside the down-spinning black
Holy space, hidden amazing in
Pure starry fields, flung loose,
Far-reaching, reality reversed;
Everywhere, anywhere,
Momentous no-place.

Imperialism

Someone tells people what they should be
And they nod without hesitation
Slaves of alien mentality
Like the crave for fad and fashion

The sphere of modern imperialism
Is far reaching to invade human mind
Chauvinism, ethnocentrism
Puppets played from behind

Arrival . . .

If it were you,
    tattered rags would litter landscape
        far reaching
tides would rush with discarded care
    certain of no recompense
horizons would tilt 90° with laughing
     disdain
life would become undone.
     but . . .
don’t dismiss God’s will.

Morning Sight

I walk in silence,
in this most haunted place.
Dew now clinging,
to my hands and face.
The morning light,
still quite far away.
I see ghosts here,
watch them laugh and play.
Is it too far reaching?
Is it in my head?
How can one be sure,
they are among the dead?

Many attempts made to alienate the biochemist,
made a scapegoat by transitory in-urbane comments
about his obesity, which did not flatter one bit.

But his capricious finding of what made malignant cancer cells
dissipate and gravitate was so perspicuous and far-reaching,
he had been nominated for a Nobel Prize.

The Searchers

Looking for lunch in all the wrong places,
Unloved, hungry eyes set in introverted faces,
There’s spirit there but only traces,
Hunting for signs of love from all races,
God uses people to dispense His Graces.
Where am I among these human cases?
One small step may be the basis,
Of many far reaching paces.
...Dare I.. ?

In My Dreams

Prophet of my aspiration, prophet of my palette, blue,
Saw you in groups of traveling birds, flying all through.
Distant spots on a canvas of far-reaching clouds.

Let her rise! Let her pass! All the angels sing to the glory,
Supplications through the darkest hours touch the story.
Love grows a shadow more than a lifetime of crowds.

Eden

rainbow colours been darken
in a world of confusion
question marks all around
no hope from the horizen

the bustling tulips are fading
by not so far from the distance
a tear drop falls lonely
by the misty heavens

sky is filled with anguish
hostile is far reaching
in a world once there was ambition
now knocks on gates of eden.

Premium Member Songs of Glory-

Songs of Glory;
Songs of praise;
Worship and adore;
You Lord
God you always a song
 and Glory songs of praise;
 I'll sing of your greatness;
 always
Worship and holy forever
You are a song of my heart
A song
So far reaching out to fathom psalms
Of Glory from you Lord
Hallelujah Amen

The Wind

Free flowing here and there
Filling the void everywhere
A thousand miles within a call
Yet not a space to lie and fall

Within a sphere their beauty I clean
At their beck and call though far reaching
Their holes I feel pouring my soul
To the dreamland I meet their goal

I haste for no time
Though the dim is my prime
Yet I’m far from a friend
Their start is my end

So on I go

Premium Member Eclipse

Circle around resolute
Arc in cosmic dance salute

Celestial bodies flying
Through space and time far reaching

Such accurate precision
In dramatic transition

Observe the paths of wonder
As senses taste sheer plunder

Watch this phenomenon
This heavenly once upon

Sun and moon and shadow play
Hurling eclipse by the way

Truth Highlights

Truth highlights will carry you
as with wings to new heights
lifts you up as an able eagle
             soaring to far-reaching sky-lights
As an eagle sees the prey a hundred miles away
so we ought to beckon The Lord for such "Eyes to See"
the majestic fountains of His Spirit ~while we may; while it is still "Day".

India Rises

From the balcony
India rises
yet modern
her vast horizon
steel stained
metal tendrils
far reaching.

From my window
palaces do not
stretch far
temples fall
out of line
I fix on
you.

From the sofa
your gaze
rests on nothing
specifically
and on me
purposefully.

From my window
India is not
without me
she is
within me
my words cling
to heavy air
I cannot kiss
her from my view.

Think Before We Speak

Think before we speak
because we didn't think before we spoke
the ramification's were far reaching
because we didn't live by what ideally we
thought as what we had once said
Think before we speak
for we effect the lives of others
ideally by what we are saying
about someone and how we feel
about someone , we dont always
need to be the control button
let life natural
think before we speak

The strings move emotions high and low
Following the keys with music so,
Beautifully smooth and flowing along
With a far reaching, soft, relaxing song
A musical journey to lead all of those
Listening intently through their woes
Into the moment where you have a chance
To fully live, listen and enhance
Your very own reaching into your soul
Where there, you can feel a sense of whole

I Am Aquarius

Average? No, no - that’s just not for me,
Questioning everything’s where I must be.
Universally speaking, the stars are my home;
Art is my passion, where free-mind can roam;
Receptive and open I love, give and dream,
Ideas come quickly – I say what I mean;
Unique is my forte, I’m kind and I’m cool;
Sweeping, far-reaching - I make my own rules!

Verrukkelijke 1903

Giving a mystical inlander,
far-reaching to fall on dormant,
grip in the wilds of Mount Arjuna.

Trembling fingers,
gently caressed,
the pile of soil wet,
as Roombutter melted.

Casuarina seedlings,
sculpt beautiful grooves,
wailing to Lord,
the pine grows fertile.

The remnants, a glory deer valley,
symphonized jungle fowl sound,
beyond tumultuous Krontjong tones,
An illegal logger Meneer relaxes.

Pivotal Moment

a pivotal moment
vital to the formation
of the future self
a decisive event
within the past self's
life's course that helped
to create the present self
a notable influentially significant
person within my existence
far-reaching
far-ranging
extensive importance
a momentous impact
you were in the creation
of the person that i have
become would not have been the
same without your influence
in my life

Simple

The stolen day,

The stolen minute,

Beautiful as a blooming flower

I procrastinate, throwing burning

Expectations in the air, stars of failure

And rebellion. I’m not the man you know

With far-reaching plans and prophesy,

I am no reader of palms and notes and

Guidelines, I’m a simple man wanting

A simple morning, a simple poem budding

From the leaves of self-made Eden,

If only,

If only,

Simple weren’t so damn difficult…

Premium Member Light of Dawn

Like the light of dawn, his words are far reaching
Beauty and love spread like sparkling rays of sun
Rising from the page in front of you
He writes in his own special way
When darkness grips or comes your way,
Take a look at what he has to say
His creation is a gift, everlasting
Like the light of dawn, that always returns

Premium Member Sarah's Chime

It came around in time.
Not a pewter dime but your silver chime

delighting the eyes of a sleep-deprived moth,
awakened from nightmares in chloroform froth.

Each muttered lie which lessens the blind,
(that my eyes, yet blinking, chased once behind)

whose stale shriek of shekels tempt tender-throats’ trust
(from far-reaching lecterns of razor-burned dust)

promise false profits, their cheeks full of rue,
bankrupt, unable to quarantine you.

Super Jupiter

Super, super, super
Primordial stardust Jupiter

So far away and voluminous gas
Multiple moons longlast

Beautiful whites, reds, yellows and browns
Big SUPER just hanging and spinning around

Expansive and looming large
Adventurous Sagittarius traveling and taking charge

Spinning and spewing joy and good luck
There are rings but no fear of being stuck

Just moving, going and spinning
Big SUPER—so far reaching

Oh, the big red spot
Big joy and good luck, I got
