We had three children;
Gave us five grandkids.
Those bore three more-
Fourth branch fills tree!
Generations of abuse,
Trickle down,
Through our family tree.
Changing,
With every generation,
But the cycle ENDS with me.
Familiar
Annoying at times
Miracles
I love them all!
Lend me the shirt off their backs
Your family tree is the best shelter!
Every bunch has one.
1. bad taste to the munch, wormy Apples!
2. Next time you pick apples ..Look at family tree!
two children chest-tight
these ties to her life severed
in no man’s land
fruit plucked from family tree
overdose of suffering
Natalia Goncharova well born you see
linked indeed to Pushkin family tree
Collaborated with Lasiono
progressive Cubism she cap did doff
Its true that your mum knew a cad
But no call for you to feel sad
For all said and done
It wasn't much fun
Someone had it in for your Dad
Treat every female with respect
Never let one suffer neglect
Your Family Tree
Makes it plain to see
That each one will somewhere connect!
Today I’m grateful for the deep roots and long branches
of my family tree…
for all the ancestors I’ve never know…
who are a part of me.
My
kindness
is not
niceness
but I know that
I am the truth
because I belong
to an eternally
growing and
deeply
rooted
family tree.
As I climb my family tree, each distinct leaf touches me with life's beauty.

ancestral seeds grow
as family tree ripens...
bearing fruits of love

I am grateful that no matter where I’ve put down roots
no matter where I’ve dwelled…
I’ve never been far from my family tree
for I am rooted there as well.
The tool to make the family tree
As a sweet pea, I was too carefree
I’ve shown to another
She called for her mother
My father bent me over his knee
Form:
the kiss of Summer
sweet with shapely leaves and scent
but Autumn’s sweeter
vibrant the family tree

He returned,
after many years,
to sit under the oak tree
near the house
where he once dwelled
and smiled
when he realized
he was rooted there as well.

If only all of the poetry I ever written for thee
Would resound deep in thine mind all while setting yourself free.
If only you and I would have formed that family tree.
Fishes for wishes
if wishes were fishes
we'd all have a sea
and if maybes were babies
the family tree
would drown in the dreams
of possibility

All the nuts fell to the ground
The sane ones on branches hang
Long line from many countries
My family tree
Since we are all connected to the one human family tree…
may we all as soon as possible come to know…
the more we root for one another
The more we get to watch each other grow.
Our tree is dying,
leaf by leaf they fall to the ground,
without a say in the matter,
and stuck to the branch,
we watch them leave,
unable to catch them,
Before they meet there dealth
theyer be on planes
and train
talking on the phone
going home
to feats and eat and meet
there family tree
some they had to seek
so manywill have same blend

FAMILY DAY BIG WEEKEND
I went to the zoo for the animals to see
But the one true animal at the zoo was me
Cold, cunning, and feral, so what else could I be
Cuz one never falls far from one's own family tree
