blank catastrophic soulstice
cashmere solitude slush

The Faded Family

We all seem delayed.
We all dissuade.
We all seem afraid.
We all seem strayed.
And then in a decade,
We all evade.
And then in another decade,
We all fade.

Faded Flowers

The flowers of my youth,
may have long since given up,
their struggle to bloom.

But there is still beauty
hidden behind these
battle scars of age…

Faded Presence

A weeping pillow
holds tightly to the remnant
scent of ecstasy,
inhaling faded presence
we console one another

Faded Love

These memories
this pain
never really lived
these scars
of faded passions
never to be born again
these visions are my pain
Killing me
inside
so cold
what was once loved
now haunts me
Form:

Faded Dream

Sunlight filters through you
soul of glass
Heart of stone
Unchanging
Nothing more
Then a faded dream
Of memories once good
Turned into dust and ashes
never growing old
young and cold
forever

The Welcome On My Doormat Has Faded

The welcome on my doormat has faded
And it is your shoes that have worn it
I think my door is locked forever
But I hold out for someone to break through my window
Using the front door is so overrated

Faded Love

In the paled morn
of lingering lost love
a mangled heart
cries due damp dew
upon rusted blades
once envied
with green glowing glee:
time mourns the passing
and resurrection breezes away.

Faded Canvas

Love has tied me in ways I never desired
Longing of you has carved your heart inside me
Under the Twilight , beneath moon I gaze pearls of pain
Every sigh whispers the silence between us
Love has tied me in ways I lost you...

Premium Member Colors Faded

Slowly I walked by Noticing colors have changed They went from colors Into the shades of slate grey Making the colored world drab

Faded

My bright pink hat has faded
To a washed-out-looking shade.
The sun has done a number;
It looks awful, I'm afraid.

Yet still, I plop it on my head
Though it is far from new
For if we're being honest, well,
I'm pretty faded, too.

No More

“ NO MORE “

WHEN LIFE BECOMES A FADED PHOTO PAINTED WITH THE PAST
TOMORROW SEEMS SO FAR AWAY AND TODAY IS CLOSING FAST
WHEN SUN COMES UP RIGHT ON TIME LIKE EVERY DAY BEFORE
I’VE ENJOYED MANY MORNINGS BUT FOR ME THEY’LL BE NO MORE

Colors in the sky
Red dots winged evil
Black stench of flaming fear
Rainbowed path of burning oil
Whistling sting of shrapnel’s stolen lives
A sunny Sunday gone wrong
The tattered flags
RED WHITE and BLUE

Faded Diamond

a faded diamond lost in the rough.
alone with no happiness, no hope, no love.
destined to spend an eternity invisible and alone.
lost forever, existing only as a drone.
a hollow shell of what used to be.
a faded diamond, a beautiful memory.

Faded Memory

How can something once so precious be lost so easily
Nary an argument
Not even the softest of whispers
My world is filled with such shadows

Not a single speck
will remain under my skin,
go ahead love on my neck;
You’ll never again get that close.
Ghosts of the shipwreck
they should remain dead;
Long ago I cleared that deck,
I won’t walk that line again.
Been there before it’s a faded trek.

Faded

They say time heals
But actually it doesn't
Time just makes you forget

You forget his voice
You forget his touch

And as soon as you see him
Or hear his name
All the memories
All the pain
It comes rushing back

So in fact you never healed
You just forgot

Faded Verses

There is a time that my poetic expressions
always went down the drain; rhymes, imagery, symbolism,
and metaphors that I used were like a hundred wet match-sticks
trying to light a fire. My voice in the form of verses was so faint and weak;
I felt as though I was writing for myself.....

Faded To Nothing

colors slowly dullen
as my whole world becomes more sullen
overwhelmed with gloom
A flower blooms only to die
In turn I cry
my eyes are fogged
I cant see past
my mysery
My life has quickly faded
to Nothing
a dying shame
crying with plenty of blame
forgotton but not forgave
dead

Faded Image/Florette

As old beauty fades, I crumble,
cast aside – in mirrored stumble –
broken doll, eyes closed, dreams crashing
longing gaze of passion’s passing.
Images - life’s sad display of final tumble.

Faded Memories

I remeber a time when you said you loved me,
but forgotten faded memories.
I remeber a time when you held me close and said you would never let go,
but forgotten faded memories.
Listen to me when I speak these words,
I hate every thing about you. I hate you.
You hurt me.
You lied and tricked me.

Looking back at a time
I envisioned you were mine
And now that I can see
I was viewing things blind
Never did I read signs
I had not reasoning to spy
We were sadly drifting
Outside of that faded line
I know to have met you
Was something truly divine
For the life we let go
Never known until we tried
