Faded Verses

There is a time that my poetic expressions
always went down the drain; rhymes, imagery, symbolism,
and metaphors that I used were like a hundred wet match-sticks
trying to light a fire. My voice in the form of verses was so faint and weak;
I felt as though I was writing for myself.....
