Premium Member Huffed and Puffed and
He huffed and he puffed and he blew the side out of the house.
The other wolves were laughing, as was an eyewitness mouse.
Birthday cake was all right, but the house was destroyed by his huff.
You will have to fix this said his Grandma who sounded angry and gruff....

Eyewitness Person
I wrote only for me.
I made confessions to my soul.
Without dialogue.
I just emptied feelings that overflowed my existence.
Joys and sorrows were fighting for domination
And I was the only eyewitness person.

Remembering the publicness
of this space
I am a guest
	I am a ghost
And will leave without touching
The façade that appears as my image

What will the eyewitness say
	How will the witness portray
What was meant to be
The variant me
Passing by...

Listen to poem:
Fading View of Time
David J Walker

Dust covers most of the few
Magical moments of childhood

Rust is rife on all metal left exposed
In the long life of my dormant bike

And I suppose the memories are
Meaningless to anyone else unless

You were an eyewitness to the
Same past times

The clock ticks
	The clock tocks
The clock chimes

Another moment crosses the lines
Leading to

	The fading view
Of life...

Weeping Willow
Decades wearing at his trunk
His branches sorrowfully drooping
Standing by and watching
As society is stooping

An overlooked eyewitness
To all that comes to pass
Every kind remark
And every ridiculing sass

Bearing the comings and goings
Adapting to each new scene
Minding his own business
Trying not to intervene

Sitting in tranquility
Counting the hours till his end
An onlooker of destruction
A bystander without a friend...

Ode Murine---Ode To a Mouse
There’s a mouse in my house,
     a greedy little souse
He’s clever for I never
     eyewitness his endeavors,
But the cat sentinel sat,
and I know the little rat
             is there.
There are holes in my rolls
and mouse turds in my bowls.
Though a lover, out of cover,
     of all fauna I discover
This critter makes me twitter
at his presence as a sitter
           in my kitchen,

So I’m bitchin’; but the mouse,
     tail a-twitchin’,
           scurries on....
