one two three
keep counting
then lose track
exhaustion
is a way
for release
simpler is
be quiet
bliss fills us
I am so drained,
a tired mind,
melted into goo
upon a platter.
Limp butter-soaked
biscuit,
no longer warm.
A forever illness.
That manifests as a culmination.
An illness that is widespread.
Creating a population.
That hides its exhaustion.
I'm refusing to lose hope
there's rising evil in this idyllic world

Recreating the same
Eventful episode
Going through my head,
Reopening the main source to my
Exhaustion only
To feel a shiver going to down my
Spine
Working most days until exhaustion until I retire,
Wasn't much to look forward to outside of religion -
Until I held my granddaughter in my arms the first time.
Then suddenly it stops –
The mind of much –
But not enough –
It stops to pause in thought.
And blinking by a lifetime,
The thought pause never stops –
Exhaustion creeps into bed with me
And wipes his grey paws all over my eyes.
Insomnia dances around in my sheets,
And kicks the old dog till the showing of skies.
She screams out in pain
Anguish and exhaustion painted on her face
If I had it within my power
Her discomfort I would erase
As she gives birth to our son
“The exhaustion of passion…
the beginning of wisdom”
A souls inner vision
—the true meaning of life

‘Answering James Hilton’
Embers from the sun,
Exhaustion wearing him down;
Intensity in his eyes,
Collapsed on the ground,
Relaxing in the cool wind;
Yellow mane flowing freely.
Into his poems he poured his whole being
unto exhaustion, what chance of retrieving
the soul from which his talent distilled
~ knowing not that a trickle can kill
fallen leaves gathered
plastic sacks for discarding
my tired, aching back
not again is my refrain
boy next door has autumn job

Dying from exhaustion, pain, anguish,
hype, anxiety, depression,
death and more
searching for one word.
giving it up
to all
slowly, the breath takes no more
and there you see a corpse.
I gardened all day
so exhaustion would set in
It worked too, but fast....
Do I have time to post my poems on a website?
I doubt that I have the capability.
My eyes are barely keeping open.
Just had a thought, they don't come too often
It came with a warning, exert some caution
Can cause great strife
If not treated right
Like stroking someone's portion until exhaustion
in exhaustion
I dont care that I"m not sleeping
I'm happy for dark silence
lying still
no voices
no music
I don't care that theres no sleep yet
I'm too tired
to sleep
I need to float my thoughts

“Octopussy” as defined in this dictionary of mine
Having sex with eight chickies all at the same time
Best be in good shape
Stamina it sure takes
But careful though, it causes exhaustion undefined
Forty years of turmoil…
the top of the heap
The head of the table,
but nothing has changed
Consensus of endorsement,
accolades of exhaustion
Whose tracks have long faded

(Dreamsleep: July, 2021)
Losing a dear one is a feeling like tears overflowing like an enormous waterfalls uncontrollably in one’s mind, heart profusely beating. Unable to sustain one’s heart beat trying to inhale, exhale to the extent of exhaustion.
exhaustion
scratches at the back of my dry eyes
images of subconscious float into reality
confusing conversation
my skin is hypersensitive
brain aches with overuse
even music hurts
oooo craving
a soft cool pillow
and silence
Bubble
of illusion
is whatever we see
in the manifest world around,
having arisen from our heart’s desire,
which upon exhaustion, recedes
in the void of silence,
there bursting the
bubble.

My mind wanders until I pass out from exhaustion.
Ivory dreams that end in disappointment because reality is so bittersweet.
As I float along an 80 proof river my senses become dull with compassion.
Fantasy is cheap. Reality is expensive.

I was bruised with exhaustion
No time to spare a care
Feeling outlawed and blue
She came suddenly to rescue
With swift action she moved
Her electric air floating supreme
And as I listened to the dream
Felt impossible love
To the bottom of my being
