snowfall in the dell-
             spring blossom dies

sunshine on my face-
           summer's last hurrah

the tangle of Autumn-
           bonfired into smoke

candlemas evensong-
                winter's requiem...

               Let me be peaceful
Angels, cover me with blue stars
               Grateful to the core

Angels Having Fun
ANGELS HAVING FUN White clouds, angels sledges, watch them flying, wings assist their leaps, winds taunt them, laughing! Blowing themselves out, what now they shout, what? Angles look bemused, time to set the sun, they blush, the clouds glow red, evensong calls! Bells ring out, beckoning, the rave begins!

Drizzles On Wind
Lost in a woodland once again
To feel the silver of mild rain-
Hair windblown

I brush the mist on my body-
Droning through a night’s symphony
Like windpipes

Until gauzy the evensong
Imbues this hill where tears belong-
In windfalls

In the midst of the forest deep,
Within evolving work of art,
Wherein men's green edifice dream does
Begin natures evensong heart.

Old timber yielding whilst in still
Hold fast, nestling mistral wind chants,
Bold aroma of petrichor
Fold upon pulse lands color plants.

Evensong
A golden tincture to the sky
as to the west it goes its way,
last fleeting glance of the sun’s eye
ere night-time comes to wrest the day.

Sat tired within my garden there
high on a tree an anthems sung,
a feathered lovechild of the airr
affirming joy of life on wing.

Its song more permanent than I
though I may think to own the tree
it cares not and all change defies
for that small bird owns liberty....

Evensong
The wind blows, weaving through the trees
The song of evening in the breeze
A warmth of love and light and song
A joyful beat when days are long

The light fades softly from the sky
The swan-winged clouds let out a sigh
A tune too soft to put to word
The sweetest song that’s e’er been heard

A golden sunset in the sky
The evenbirds let out a cry
A story of the days grown long
The beauty of sleeping evensong...

Aurora's Meridian.
Let sleep be given,
To the evensong,
As perhaps,
A fallen opulence feather,
Fallen from wings tips flight.

Unconscious in the sojourn,
Of none the more a mind's cease,
Memory will not forsake the need,
To purify the thought of search,
As eyed lids rested plight.

Find me in the breakage,
Of light's asunder,
And Cimmerians's leer,
The tapestry of morning,
To find the gift of dawn,
In the unspoken reflected...
